    Just remove it.

You have selected our Online Check-In/Priority Boarding service, passengers who qualify for this service can avoid check-in queues and be priority boarded onto the aircraft. Don’t forget to check-in online from 2 days up to 4 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time. Click to Remove this service and just travel with 0 bags.

I can't find anything at all from either Inverness or Aberdeen. Can only fly to Liverpool for free but can't find anything to fit in flying from Liverpool to anywhere else as they only fly 3 days a week to Liverpool and 3 days a week from Liverpool to most places so the times don't work! Have tried September and October - having been on the computer for 3 hours trying to find something

    Thanks for this!! :D

I wanted to go to Valencia but couldn't find any dates Thursday to Monday. I ended up buying 2 returns to Venice (boyfriend has been harping on about going) for 4p! Only downside is how much the hotels are going to cost! Any recommendations for cheap/ish hotels?

Buy a lonely Planet guide for Italy/Western Europe or borrow one from your local library. It should give you a few choices for inexpensive accommodation.

Does anyone know what happens if you fail to use the free flights? Is there a system which allows you to cancel in advance for FREE?

Presumably lots of people book flights for 1p on the off-chance and maybe cannot actually go, when the time arrives.

An authorative knowledgable reply would be much appreciated.

They will not charge you if you do not use them.

I missed several trips to Dublin on the last 1p offer with no taxes, and there were no charges or cancellation fees, they are used to no shows on these airlines especially when there are cheap deals.

I just booked for 4th Sept Day trip to Dublin from East Midlands for 4 of us, then decided to stay a night, so booked a 1 way back from Dublin on the 5th Sept, just will not turn up for the return flight on the 4th.

My only loss will be the 4p paid for the return part of the tickets at 1p each. there is no cancellation fees.

Everyone at work is asking me why are they doing this as it must cost Ryanair a fortune. Does anyone know? And also, is it a mad scramble for seats or are they allocated at check in?

Thanks again to the OP and everyone for all of the advice!
