Hope you enjoyed the Tour. I've just spent two days watching it on telly. Made me feel proud to live in Yorkshire.

It was fab! I was right at the front at the barriers as they came to the top of the last hill....walking up that hill kills me, no idea how hard it must have been to cycle up it!

Fab afternoon out and completely free as my brother paid for the ice creams :)

Thanks, just trying my best like all the other mummy's do

Spent £1 this morning trying out playgroup for the first time with little man, was ok. Little man enjoyed it but don't think I'll be making any mummy friends as everyone seemed to keep themselves to themselves.

Off to the local shopping centre in a while as little miss has 2 birthday party invitations I need to get gifts for. I hate the place mainly because I can't resist spending!

Will stick to my list and not treat us to tea out eirher.....hopefully!

So last nights trip to the shopping centre didn’t go to well….That place really does just suck you in to spend spend spend mode! I avoid it at all cost and only every go there if I need to get a gift or something very specific.

*£6 in smiths for stationary for work (yes work should provide this but they don’t do post-it notes…I can not live without these lol)
*Gift 1 for £7.99 (budget is usually £5-10 depending so not bad)
    * 2 x cardigans reduced form £7.99 to £5 each – these weren’t on the list for last night but are on the list of things to get soon as they are new school uniform for next year.
    * £14.99 on second gift, I was not happy about this at all! 1, because the shop completely messed up so I couldn’t get the £9.99 version (complaint e-mail sent) and 2, I had already said I would get that specific gift so couldn’t look for anything else
*£14 in Disney shop on sale items to put away for Christmas – again not on the list for last night but I have budget for this. This shop is my real weakness; I can not pass without spending even when the kids aren’t with me!
*£17 on tea at the chicken restaurant….complete fail

Also took little mans new buggy back! The brakes failed whilst we were on holiday, I was not best pleased about this at all especially as little man went rolling off down the road  I could have swapped it for another of the same but once something such as child safety has been compromised I do not trust a brand. We could if needed manage with his old one as it’s still in good working order but not very practical any more…will put the £50 back in savings as assess the situation as/when

Had a good look at the bank accounts and budgets for the rest of the month and everything is looking ok. Really need to stick to the budget for the rest of the month though as there is no room for manoeuvre.

In other news I have no idea how the weight loss is going, diet went completely out of the window during the holiday and the scales have run out of battery, trying to be extra good in hopes that the damage is undone by the time I get a new one. Little miss is playing up slightly post holiday, to be expected I think, little man is good and sleeping well at the moment. Need to do some work on our meal planning and shopping as it’s just not working for us and also tackle the house work and washing/ironing

So I've been avoiding my diary as I have totally fallen off the DFW wagon! Not run up any debt or anything but just been spending money from my account meaning there won't be as much as there should be in there for savings and other pots at the end of the month.

It's been on all sorts, taking the kids out, last minutes meals out with family, kids clothes, charity shop, car boot sale, new kitchen scales and such.

Going to log on to my bank and assess the damage later and get back on track, hopefully I can pull it back a little by cutting our entertainment and food budget for the next few weeks!

The only good news is the new ww diet is going well

Finally looked at my bank account and budget sheets  even with shuffling and rejigging I will be £100 short on my savings this month  I have rejigged my savings to reflect this and had to lower some of the targets for the pots. Hoping there will still be enough to cover everything

Everything else so so, kids being monsters but I think it's the end of term wind down and the heat :o Some good new though I have managed to lose another 6.5lbs so that's the holiday weight gain gone and some :j

Not been on for a while as I've been busy at work and with end of year school stuff for little miss.

Money wise things are going to budget and I've stopped the spending. Had and extrs tax credit payment go into my bank, it's roughly the same as my weekly payment amount so not sure if it's a one off or they have changed my payment date? Going to see what happens next week. If it's an extra payment I'm going to clear another debt with some and save the rest for a rainy day.

WW diet still going well and I'm looking forward to my second weigh in on Wednesday :)
