I'm not worried about spending it all including the emergency as I've worked hard this last year keeping me and the little people on our feet after the husband left that we deserve some fun an a week not worrying about things :)

Too right - enjoy your holiday, you clearly deserve to! Everyone needs time to relax when you work so hard throughout the year(s)

Having the best time ever! Little people are amazing and their excitement is making me burst with happiness :)

No idea how my bank account is looking or my budget sheet but I'm still in budget for the holiday as I brought cash, not sure there will be much left at the end of the week though!

So after 4 fantastic nights away we are home, it been amazing and just what we needed as a family. Yes spending money on a holiday is not very DFW but what we have gained from this holiday is priceless! it might sound cheesey but I am so proud of myself to have worked hard, saved and done this all on my own....these memories will last a lifetime :D

    Holiday Budget -
    Holiday 145.80/150
    Food 60.60/45
    Petrol 25.03/35
    Eating Out 30.96/40
    Other - 78.73/50
    Emergency 15/40
    Spending 78.80/80

    Total 437.92/440

£2.08 under budget, this will go in my sealed pot

I'm 3 loads of washing into the 5 I have to do and I'm half unpacked....not looking forward to the ironing on Sunday!

I need to meal plan and do a shopping list but it will have to wait as I'm going to have an early night

Not much spending this weekend, just the food shop (under budget)

Still trying to get through the washing but it'll have to wait as we're off to watch the tour de France as it passes by us a few streets away.. .. .. really looking forward to it :)
