What a weekend! Spending went out of control so did eating and housework :( all my own fault and now I'm mad with myself :(

Need to sit down later and assess the damage!

    Oh no!

We've all been there! I also overspent and overate this weekend, I blame the sun, it's so rare it causes strange actions in all of us. Reassess and you'll get back on track before you know it! No point pretending we can all be perfect (non)spenders all of the time x

I've finally sat down and had a look at the spending from this weekend. After a bit of juggling it's not as bad as I thought, I'm £13.04 over on my food budget.

The weekend didn't go to plan at all, the spa night was cancelled so I went to Mr A's and bought some yummy food and treats to make myself feel better. Not good for the budget or the diet  emotional eating is my biggest downfall!

I've been thinking about my diet and messy house problem and it's basically laziness. If I put half as much time, determination and effort into them as I have paying off my debt then I know I'd succeed. Although I am still pushing forward with the money it needs to take a back seat in my head so I can focus on the diet!

Have you looked at the flylady thread on here? It was just what I needed to give me the motivation and company to make housework less boring. You don't have to complete all the lists every day, just little and often.
Spend less now, work less later.

Yes, I used to fly many years ago and found it good but I struggle to stick to it now as it doesn't fit in with our life :/

My aunt says my house is never messy and yes if you popped in you'd probably think the same but I know lurking behind the closed doors there is years of crap just waiting to fall out lol

    Managed a NSD yesterday....whoop whoop :j

Today would have also been no spend but little miss has a sponsored walk I had forgotten all about :o

Back on track diet wise finally, seems like something has just clicked and I'm ready for the challenge. I will be slimmer by Christmas if it kills me.. .. .. well I might not go that far :D

Need to start thinking about our holiday as we go the beginning of July. Want to set budgets for food, petrol and daily spending, more on this later!

Bit of a spendy day for me! £501.41 paid for nursery fees last month  also £1.05 at breakfast club for little miss

Jacket potatoes on the meal plan for tonight but there is not a potato to be found in my house....something on taost it is :o

Little miss has got 8 out of 8 stickers on her chart for the last 3 days, think we might be making progress :T Diet going well still and my washing basket is empty and the ironing basket has 4 items in it :D

Trying to get organised for the next few weeks so to do list this week on top of the usual stuff -
*Get new socks for little miss (I'm sure the washer is eating them!)
*Go to hell for holiday stuff (the local shopping centre is nicnamed hell by most locals as it is just that!)
    *Wash little peoples sandles
*Take up trousers and turn into long short for holiday
*Check swim nappy stock levels - get more if needed
*Beg, steal or borrow a cool bag
    *Buy toastie maker
*Holiday spending budget and shopping list

There is loads more I need to do but I hardly have time for the usual stuff so this little lot will keep me extra busy!

Didn't manage to get on here yesterday had a terrible day and was in bed by 8!

Had 2 large spends £52 at the garage to fix the door & £37 at Clarks for new shoes  little miss some how broke the car in a tantrum then knocked oil over in the garage covering hers and my shoes she's in the bad books and grounded until she's 18

Managed to juggle all the budgets around and come up with the money but it leaves us £23 to last until next Friday :o been through the freezer and it's well stocked thankfully so hoping to manage on a little shop and lots of NSD!
