This week really isn’t going well L
Due to a million reason some avoidable some not we didn’t get our imaginary picnic and it cost me £9.24 for tea at the supermarket caf!. If we ever go there it normally costs £5 as we get an adult meal deal for £5 and a free kids meal that the 3 of us share (little man and little miss eat like sparrows) Little miss was completely fed up due to the messing about and insisted on choosing something awkward and by this point I did not have the energy for a battle or to deal with a meltdown so ended up paying for an extra kids meal and drink. No idea what pot/budget this will come out of, possibly the £5 eating out and the rest form my weekly entertainment making me -£9.24 for the week….oh dear me!
Whilst at Mr M’s I sorted out fathers day gifs, had a gerrrr moment when I had to spend money on the ex but little miss really wanted to get him something so settled on £3 I heart dad chocolates and a card (he did not get me anything from them on mothers day) Total cost £13.44 for 2 gifts and cards, this will come out of the annual gift budget
Filled up the car with £30.01 after all these years I still can’t get it exactly on the £. Picked up a miles card as I always fill up at Mr M’s, not sure what it’s all about but points normally mean prizes!
I forgot my pack lunch today and I am starving (as always!) I’d made an extra big salad for lunch as there was only 1 wheatbisk left this morning so only a light breakfast. I know I won’t last until home time without eating especially as having to put extra hours in at work today (another reason this week isn’t so good) Will have to get something with the none existent budget I have left for this week
No idea why I have not stuck to budget this week as I am normally super good at it and have money left each week. Feeling slightly cross with myself LLBM - DFW Jan 2010Debt 1 13680/15000 -- Debt 2 0/4800Weight loss 23.5/76lbsNSD 2014 5/30 -- Savings 2014 2130/4260Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge #173 - £8.10Sealed Pot Challenge #3950 -
I am a mom too and currently fixing myself. My debt ballooned just like my body. Anyhow, just like you I am sorting out my debts and currently into weight loss.
I do home exercises from Jillian Michaels that are available on Youtube (cheaper than gym, haha!). And for the past 5 months, I have lost 10kilos already. Very slow but stable.
Mind if I add your thread to look up to have buddy here?

Ohh don't get mad you are still doing SO well! Chin up! You are only human and doing the best you can whilst working full time and being a single mum! Just remind yourself of how well you are doing and that you have a fab weekend coming up with a BBQ and a pamper night! Lush!
Plus be the bigger person - forget the ex, just know that you are doing right!
I struggled with our house recently, after the wedding and work etc (and I don't even have children - my god what will be like with them!) I just let everything get on top of me.
I followed the fly lady thing and started doing 15 min every night (not including usual dishes et) I set the timer on my phone and done 15 min, when that alarm went off it stopped and put the kettle on and sat down! It took about 3 weeks but I managed to get my house sorted without even realising!

Thanks Mrs Mars, although I only work part time, struggle fitting that in no idea how I'd manage full
Doing ok so far today, got £20 out of bank. £5 for little man to have a hair cut, have a £5 a month budget and then £13 to pay for little misses dance class so £2 left. Going to get another £5 out as they have 2 for £7 on BBQ meat in the c0-op. This leaves me with £22.16 for this week food shop.... Could be an interesting weekLBM - DFW Jan 2010Debt 1 13680/15000 -- Debt 2 0/4800Weight loss 23.5/76lbsNSD 2014 5/30 -- Savings 2014 2130/4260Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge #173 - £8.10Sealed Pot Challenge #3950 -
Fallen out with the postman lol today he's delivered me little mans £500 monthly nursery invoice and my monthly catalogue statement. As I said in my earlier posts most of the companies I owe money too have been good but this one is a pain  really need to pull £62.61 together to take some of the pressure off.
He did also deliver one of my 2 free Disney DVDs that I've ordered using my reward points, that's 2 Xmas gifts sorted
Little miss had her first new dance class tonight and loved it so feeling like a proud momma, managed to tackle some of the house today so feeling better about that too.
Popped into Mr T's for some shopping £9 spent so only £13.16 left in the budget, I need about £17 worth of bits from Mr Al tomorrow so might have to borrow £5 from next weeks £45 budget alreadywould have managed if I didn't have to spend £7 on the BBQ meat
Next weeks meal plan is as follows -
Tapas (reduced to 62p per dish from £2.50 in Mr T's tonight)
Family BBQ
Pasta bake, garlic bread and salad
Chinese chicken and cous course
Jackets with tuna and salad or cheese & beans
Nuggets and Chips with peas
Pasta Bake, garlic bread and salad

Where has the sun gone?
Saturday I usually use some of the entertainment budget and take the little people to soft play or swimming or something but since my entertainment budget is nearly none existent this week we were going to the park. Its rained all morning so the kids have been cooped up going crazy
They are off to their dads tonight, I'll save you my rant about how little he actually has them but little misses birthday was the middle of May and she'll finally open her cards & gifts from his side tonight
Been to do the shopping, seems I can't add up and I actually had £12.16 plus £7 for BBQ meet from c0-op. Spent £32.93 at Mr Al's. Some stuff none food from other budgets like sun cream for the holiday and nappies for little man also managed to get BBQ meat (Chinese & BBQ marinated chicken) for £2.49 each, means I'm only £3.21 over budget this week...... So far :rotfl:LBM - DFW Jan 2010Debt 1 13680/15000 -- Debt 2 0/4800Weight loss 23.5/76lbsNSD 2014 5/30 -- Savings 2014 2130/4260Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge #173 - £8.10Sealed Pot Challenge #3950 -
