I overestimated how much I could achieve this morning, so bathroom jobs will have to wait. Off to walk the dogs.Spend less now, work less later.0

morning all
long and difficult day yesterday, hospital most of the morning with mil, another couple of appts given to us so will plan round those during the next 2 weeks. DS1, friend, DD2 and partner went to concert as planned so i was on baby sitting duty, settled my little charges on settees at about 9 and said id stay down stairs reading and stitching till everyone got back incase they woke. 11.30 phone rang "mum theres been a bit of an incident, everyones ok but were at the police station !'' turns out DS2 had his phone nicked at the beginning of gig, he realised when he was going to take a photo, noticed couple near him checking their pockets and looking worried so asked them if theyd lost anything and told them about his phone, turned out during the gig 20 people had phones stolen! someone had a find my phone app and traced it so they all decided safelty in numbers and trolled off like a jovial angry mob. 5 police cars turned up and got involved ended up with someone that had over 20 phones on them getting arrested and a queue down the local station to do paperwork and reclaim said phones. finally got DS2 back and relieved of my little sleeping charges at 3am, so today i will mostly be running on strong black coffee. Must say respect to the police for sorting it all so quickly and actually letting everyone take their phones away with them instead off putting them in the evidence bag.
will be a large glass of something later on today i believe ive earned it!!
on the challenge front ive now completed the 2 panels i set out to do this month.
off to see what lists ive missed yesterday and today i need to play catch up
hope all are wellSPC~12 ot 124

Morning all.
Another bright sunny day hereWM is already on with the first load of towels and yesterdays laundry is put away/on the ironing pile.
Taken one of the exercise challenges I set myself off the list, its too hot for me to be doing day to day stuff, never mind getting very hot and sweaty working outSo today I'm setting myself a challenge of not snacking instead
DD is collecting empty plastic bottles for her schools allotment/green corner. Fortunately she's timed it well as we're going through cordial like I don't know what ATM. Unfortunately it means instead of a quick rinse and sling it in the recycling bin, they're being washed properly which means the dirty dish pile is increasing. She said she's not taking them until there's a binbag full. She'll probably hit that by the end of the next week!
I'm going to get stuck in and do a HHC or so on the window, kids should all be at school now so having the blinds drawn back won't result in a fish tank effect when they walk past! Having no 'front' to my house has its disadvantages.
If its gone it's done or not applicable.

i seem to have loads of random collections on the go at the mo, collecting 1litre tetrapaks and pop bottle lids for a lady on freecycle, so they need washing and storing till i have enough for her to come for.
milk bottle lids get washed and go into school every monday morning
most random one is one of the young leaders at scouts is asking us to save biscuit wrappers for charity so they are also getting bagged up and taken off to scouts each week.
still waiting to hear if the school allotment organiser wants the 3 bags of plant pots from mils garageSPC~12 ot 124
