Hello everyone its been such lovely weather her the kids have only just gone to bed.

Have been shuffling the furniture upstairs all morning. We now have the children all sharing a bedroom, 1 room devoted to toys and my room is still the same but with a lot less 'stuff'.

I have decided to miss out the extras this week as I was behind before I started. I NEED to iron but I don't think I can be bothered. I am just about to strip my sofa cushions and pop them in the wash now so they can go straight out in the morning :D then Iron.... Maybe lol.

    hello all
    *mops brow* whew it's warm!

Managed to get a load on the line.

Bins emptied (recycling). Out council has instigated a new system; biodegradeables (ie food waste INC cooked waste food) all go in the green bin. Unwrapped. Was fly central out there - and I have been sparing with what I put in. Ugh!

Done a couple of WM and DW, had DS3's hospital appointment and spent 2 hours raiding on WoW ... finishing my next to last blanket square.. I refuse to go to bed until it is done.. and I'm on a promise apparently.. I just want to sleep, I'm exhausted after hospital!

Saw NDN who thought it was a fab idea snipping at the bee tree, so much so that when I'd done what was over my side, I handed the telescopic lopper over the fence and she did theirs :T
Result = no overhang, fewer bees, very tidy shrub :)

Garden looking nice despite me not doing bedding plants this year (CBA) but it's very tidy and I do have a few pots of lilies on their way.

Kitchen sorted, LR tidied and sewing finished. Also spoke to MIL, they go on hols in the wee hours, so I'm expected to take care of myself for the next two weeks ;) and the kiddies wanted to say Bon Voyage!

Bills are all sorted (except car insurance and MOT, still not quite time yet) so that's part of my challenge taken care of, and I've been quite good today re the other, not snacking and generally cutting down portions.

All in all a positive day :T

    Evening all

Looks like lots of us are struggling to get on with any actual flying atm. I've done hardly any all week. Going to quickly tidy the kitchen and then bed, tired and more paid stuff in the morning.

I will try to catch up a bit on the weekend with the house and garden.

  • Not much achieved today flying wise, but did get down the seafront with the youngest Skints to wander up and down the pier before the BD started snapping at my ankles.

Spent 5 minutes on exercise DVD, as I remembered I was in a better place last summer for doing a bit every day.

Have been using whoopsie fruit and veg to make nutritious smoothies today.....DD4 had some stirred into porridge this morning and didn't bat an eyelid.

Oh, there was some flying, I banged out the mats from the car footwells and I scrubbed two black marks off the LR carpet.

Right time to catch some zzzz and hope for a better night with DS tonight

Work done for the week I think except for the bank run and juggling papers. :D Took it easy for a while when we got back as we were both so hot. Chased DD upstairs at 8pm to make her bed and wrap her dads fathers day gift (just hoping the cards we ordered yesterday from m00np1g arrive in time!) and I made my bed. After the obligatory wrapping paper tubes used as light sabers 'fight' DD decided she was too tired and went to bed early :rotfl: I don't think she liked me 'winning' :o:rotfl::rotfl:

Any ways, flying wise I've washed the actual quilt from my bed, and that's now on the maiden overnight, I've done a big batch of dishes, S&S'd the kitchen and straightened up the livingroom! Only hotspots now are the ironing, shredding & window decorating piles :D All of which I'm hoping to clear this weekend ;) The window will take priority tomorrow simply to get it finished, but I'll be flying in HHC's throughout the day while paint dries.

Now its time for me to head to bed. I'm hoping to sleep better tonight with no quilt on. and I'm having a pjs day tomorrow as I'm so much cooler in them in this heat. Night all

Gosh - I'm struggling with working all week and the house is slowly going too.

'Heaps' are starting to appear everywhere and the only 'tidy' room is becoming the kitchen. My DH actually did the WUDUPA after he cooked his own tea as I was at work :kisses3:

Morning all. My plan for the morning before the paid stuff (last day today before a whole week off, yay!):

    Water plants
    Hoover downstairs
    Gym
    Shower
Catch up on bathroom jobs from yesterday's list
    Walk dogs

I need to take a quick break from paid stuff today to pop to docs for prescription and do HHI.

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
