Just decided it's not me, it's the site. I think I broke it. Everything else seems ok.

Iammumtoone....I had six cats in total, and at any one time I had a maximum of four. If the new cat is a youngster, there is never a problem, barring a little bit of initial hissing and putting into place! They just get used to each other!

  • I would really like another cat but have a dilemma. I have a visiting cat who belongs to next door but wont go in their house (they leave food for him outside). I let him in mine, at first it was just in the evenings but then I started to feel sorry for him out in the cold all night so he stays at mine and sleeps on my bed with me now

I believe that we don't choose cats, cats choose to live where they want, and where there is a vacancy, I am half-hoping one will turn up on my doorstep and make my mind up for me! :)

Totally agree! Percy cat definitely chose us :) His previous owner suddenly decided she had to move house and couldn't take him. We went round just to say hello to him (and OHs dad, who was staying there at the time). They dropped him off at ours the next morning! They never did move house, never even looked anywhere.

Have no idea why she decided he had to go in such a hurry, he's certainly no trouble (usually lol).

He came to us at just the right time for all of us :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
Well WE chose both of ours, and worked hard to hope they liked that choice. We've helped ferals here ( now passed on) and neighbours farm cats but make sure that they don't choose us. :( Very difficult, but equilibrium between neighbours happiness, and our cats, has to be reached.

We've often talked about getting two more kittens but I think our two are two old to be happy about it. May be when there is only one. we'll see. :(.

I find the idea of being without the cats almost traumatic. Its hard to accept they are getting older. :(

Well if you're asked to apply for a job, someone must be confident you can do it! :)

Brilliant idea about the smoothie with added extras!
