I am very proud of myself. Our garden gate has been dodgy ever since the dogwalker left it open and it blew off its hinges. Today with the help of my drill, new electric scewdriver and a tin of wd-40, I fixed it! In the rain and wind.

    It is indeed!

Did you know that it's name means 'Water Displacement - 40th formula', and it was invented in 1953 to prevent corrosion in nuclear missiles. It was made commercially available in 1958.

    We need a human version.

My DIY rule is: if it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40; If it does move and it shouldn't then duct tape.

I do love power tools though and I'd love a tool belt!

Just finished my last Pepsi Max. Eeek.

Do you know, it's funny because I love tools too, and have loads, but hardly ever use them, one reason being that they're not very accessible , due to all the Stuff.

I have lots of screwdrivers, too, and keep some basic ones in a drawer downstairs and upstairs, so that if I ever need one quickly, I can put my hand on one. I also have pliers everywhere, and an upstairs and a downstairs bradawl. There's nothing worse than needing to make a hole and not knowing where the bradawl is!!

Ditto scissors. I have scissors everywhere, in their own special places, so that I just need to reach out my hand and they're there!

Code! Look at me! You don't need Pepsimax! You don't! You're bigger than Pepsimax! Go go go!

I have the same trail of screwdrivers. I can never find scissors due to DH moving them.

I just bought a window vac which I'm excited to try. I also have about 8 canvases that I need to hang. We make canvases every trip we go on, but now we're running out to house to hang them!

Ooh! I was thinking of getting a window vac, for the condensation. Do tell me what you think of it!

Are you a painter, then? What do you paint?

Oh my god, no. I have no artistic talent! My level is somewhere around stick figures. We get photo canvases of our favourite photo of the trip - it's like a tradition. We also buy a sketch of the place from a street artist but those will get hung when we've decorated the stairway, which needs to wait until we've had the bathroom done.

As soon as I try it out, I'll let you know.
