OH MY GOODNESS. I adore otters, they are absolutely my favourite animals <3

Regarding Christmas sweet treats, has anybody tried M&S Cranberry Jaffa cakes?

    We had some.

    Not now. :D :EasterBun

    B) Sainsbury's caramel pannacotta. (Not any other that I've tried to date! All the others are super-yuk!) strange!

codemonkey, it is just pure bad luck and nothing personal against you.

Big hugs, Code. One of my ex's has 5 children (that was 10 years ago, could be more by now) and he really isn't a good dad to say the least. I know how it makes you feel. Strop away.

I LOVE the photo's, oldestgnome! I now want a baby sealion.

    The otters are adorable!

I love the pics on the thread, they really do lift my mood. I think we have room for serious, fun and thoughtful discussions and pics on the thread, I love the mix!

Aww, whitewing. That actually means a lot to me that littlewing is learning through me. It is also really sweet of your OH to mention me, I am a little part of the family! That always makes me feel warm inside.

I am off to learn about reindeer, still bouncing off the walls here!

A miracle has happened, I bought a pair of trousers and a jacket to go out next week. It is the first time I have bought clothes in 3 years on account of never going anywhere. I have my Christmas jumper (which stretched wonderfully) to wear with them. This is turning into a big occasion!

Being on a fake fur throw on my bed makes him happy.

  • I am grumping. I have just read two articles stating how recognising mental illness could lessen terrorists attacks. I have no problem with this, what I don't like is both stated how Schizophrenia often results in violent behaviour along with lists of various murderers who were diagnosed with Schizophrenia.

Schizophrenia does NOT often result in violent behaviours, it is a handful of people. We never hear about the millions of Schizophrenics who like me, wouldn't hurt a fly. I have already had people recoil from me when I have told them my diagnosis, articles like this do not help. It makes me feel ashamed of what I have without me actually having done anything awful to feel that in the first place. I am the opposite to what these articles describe, I am extremely passive and death is a huge trigger for me. I would never hurt anyone.

    I am quietly sulking.

Were they online articles and was there space to comment? If so, no need to quietly sulk, go on there and put them straight as loudly as you like - it's what online comment sections are there for.

I'm wanting to shout and scream at the moment due to family members and game playing. Can't be doing with it, don't want to play, always seem to end up feeling in the wrong whatever I do. Bah humbug.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • Sorry to hear that, elsien. How frustrating, it definitely sounds like it is their problems and not yours, no need to feel in the wrong. Go give Gitdog a cuddle, or a bauble.
