They never offer it as a first choice but other than Seroxat it is the only one that gives me no side effects at all. I tried ordinary Citalopram and couldn't stay awake, nevermind the dry mouth and headaches. Now I don't even know I am taking anything, it has been a tiny miracle for me. I was also told never to lose the pills because they cost £5 a time and that was 9 years ago!

Thanks for posting that just goes to show that what suits one doesn't suit all. I was getting a bit worried what I posted about it and was going to edit as I wouldn't want to put anyone off treatment by describing how it was for me.0 -
Of course you can complain iam, as JM says we can all be ourselves here! So sorry to hear about your stresses right now, this time of year is hard for a lot of people. Hang in there and if you want to vent we are all here to listen and never judge.
Hello, hanc! Welcome to the thread! Feel free to post anytime or lurk if you prefer! You will always be welcome here and I am glad that you are enjoying the thread, we sure talk a lot and I am glad that it is entertaining!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Thank you for the welcome!! No doubt I shall post where I feel I am able.... I don't find opening up too easy but the honesty on this thread has just blown me away!
As a bit of background.... The exterior.... All FINE. We know what that means. Good job, not that I particularly like but it's a job. Lovely husband, lovely family, all on doorstep.
I'm 33 and have for around 15 years struggled with anxiety and do not do well with stress. Job very stressful which seems to come out physically in me. Which, with anxiety, diagnosed as health anxiety, is not a good combo!
I don't know the protocol yet so forgive me if this is a penguin subject. Children. We have lost a few pregnancies this year which has had a profound effect on me emotionally. So, currently, I am having a bit of a difficult time.
But that's everything in a nutshell!!

Have a hug or a warm handshake, hanc. You have been through so much this year, I am not at all surprised that you are having a difficult time. Lots of us here have anxiety, myself included. I do understand about the effects on your health, I have a series of immune disorders that flare whenever I am stressed, which makes me anxious and then the domino effect comes into play. Please feel that you can say as little or as much as you wish here, no pressure to post at all but if you want to we will all listen and do our best to support you.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France
