  • Hello MU! I don't envy anyone working in retail at this time, it must be complete chaos! How is beau? How are you other than being exhausted?

I wish i was seeing Beau :( Can;t see him till january now when he's coming down for a gig (and im gonna try get the whole weekend off work) but i did see him on tuesday and we exchanged christmas pressies :D Things are ok, there's some complicated family/ex gf stuff going on, but it's not somethng i can get involved in so i'm currently biting my tongue and hoping Beau can sort it out himself.

I'm ok part from being knackered....i've not be very complient with taking my anti depressant (i tend to start it for a few weeks, then get sick of the side effects and stop taking it) but i started taking it again this week and am trying to stick to it. :o With the extra stress at work its been needed.

  • Aw, I am glad that you got to exchange gifts at least, seeing Beau in January will give you something to look forward to!

Have you tried a different antidepressant? I take the one especially for people who can't take the others. Doctors don't offer it until they have no choice because it is expensive but it is worth telling your GP if you are getting bad side effects and they will suggest it eventually. I agree with you that with the Christmas chaos in the shops you really do need it now, I can't imagine how tiring it must be.

So sorry you have lost a dog.

So pleased WaS has exciting news. It's lovely of the Garden Centre to offer that to you. I saw reindeer at the Christmas Fair I went to a couple of weeks ago, they are lovely creatures and appear very gentle.

We were a little sad this morning, we took (notso) Secret Rooster back to the farm he came from this morning. He was getting so noisy and also was annoying his ladies by constantly pestering them with unwanted attention !!
We researched a number of options which all seemed to result in 'no thanks' or 'it doesn't work' so when the farm finally replied and agreed to take him it seemed the best of not many options. He will have lots of friends there and can shout his heart out with out complaints.
    I miss him though :(

Lots of Christmas shopping too ....

Sorry I'm not so chatty at the moment. I've been struggling a bit with my new anti-D's and christmas stress etc etc.... but a bit better for the last two days so maybe the pills are working !

Lovely Student Son is home for the weekend , he's busy revising but still available for fuss and cuddles :D ...he 'just happened' to have a HUGE bag of laundry too :rotfl: , he's fully trained in washing machine operation though so no extra work for me :D

  • WaS , what is the name of the 'last resort' anti-D ? so far I've always stopped mine due to side effects this is the sixth type I'm on now (over 15 years ) .
