    LiR, sorry about bug dog.

So heart warming to read about santa/reindeer plans :) that's a lovely thing for them to do.

I've been hiking up to Laguna des Torres from El Chalten in southern Argentina, the group were really supportive and i was proud to complete the 22km hike to the glacial lake, its in Los Glaciares national park. Felt a bit broken after! Glacier walking near Al Calafate tomorrow.

    Internet sorted at last.
Well behind with online Christmas shopping so I'll pop back later when I've had a chance for a proper read and catch-up.
Enjoy what's left of the weekend, everyone.

  • Very interesting article/biog on grief and autism. WARNING - contains an enormous CBP (crotch biting penguin, the worst sort) at the beginning where it talks about the death of the writer's father. But the article is excellent on autism and the whole site looks as if it will repay exploration.

I am giggling at the fairy door, I love mine. I have my flower fairies protecting it!

What has Sir P been doing?! I can;t take my eyes off him!

    Awwww, I love the toys!

Big hugs Code, hang in there. We are all thinking of you.

I lit a candle last night, LIR. Big hugs.

I have my plan from the manager for my Winter Wonderland visit! It will start at 6.30pm on the 22nd. It is all outside so he said the lights should look especially good in the dark. It should take an hour.

First I meet Alice the Elf, who will walk me through the experience. I will be taken along the winter walk which has 'snow' and decorated tree's and interactive decorations to play with.

I then go to Mother Christmas's house and make my sandwiches for WaSp and I with her, cut them into Christmas shapes and choose a cake which I will decorate. WaSp and I will then sit outside in the snow surrounded by the tree's and eat what I made (the manager will replace the usual juice with coffee).

I then go on with Alice the Elf to the reindeer's field where she will give me some food and we will go in and feed them.

From there she will take me to Santa's grotto, where I will meet him and receive my gift as long as I have been good! he actually said that.

I am bouncing off the walls here, I am so excited! I can't believe that they are doing this for me! WaSp has gone back to his head in his hands...

I think it is all totally wonderful. What a brilliant person the garden centre chap is!

I think it's making my Christmas, never mind yours. I love a bit of Christmas magic. (Even WaSp will be fine once he's there).

It sounds like a Red Letter Day experience. If the centre wants to take photos of you and use your happy experience for PR for it's good deed for Christmas make sure you give it your explicit permission.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
