Lol, I like ovaltine - I never realised it was gruel! Good - that means I can have it even more when I am feeling sorry for myself.

Do eat your biscuits when you are feeling better WaS. Then you have a lovely tin, full of promise to house all sorts of exciting christmassy things.

I am currently attempting weak green tea, I wanted something hot. It could be stress, I won't poke WaSp quite yet. I have never tried gruel, off to search for a recipe now. Yes, really.
Talking of tins, I popped into M&S yesterday evening and saw they had a tin of biscuits in the shape of a Christmas tree that revolved!

I'll see if I can google it.............

You've got to really like the tin, as there's only 250g of shortbread and it's £10!

    I'm in a clique! It's a clique of one! It's a unique clique!
    I love

  • I like malted milk drinks so I have had gruel!

I shall enjoy my yummy butter biscuits as soon as I am able! I feel a bit actually now I have some fluid in me.

That is an adorable tree! I had never seen anything like these before, it is such a lovely idea!

  • The M & S tins sound to me like something that might be reduced to £5 after Christmas. If we're lucky :D

Confession - I too was given a tin of F & M biccies for a birthday, and didn't eat them fast enough. They were oatcakes (not luxury bix, but still delicious - I REALLY like oatcakes and they would be a good idea for WaS today if you have any) and they went a bit soft. They all got eaten eventually tho! :D

All this talk of biscuits is making me hungry :) I'd give good money for a chocolate malted milk right now

We have one of the M and S Xmas tree tins from last year. It is good, if a bit fast on the tune. We will keep it until it falls to pieces!
