Morning all! Hope everyone is doing ok today?
I am just back from the rheumatologist, my monthly appointments are over! That went quite well, basically keep doing the physio exercises and keep going with the pain medication. Nothing is worse so woohoo! All of my codeine has been changed to soluble now so that it works faster and gives me a glass of water with each dose to protect my kidneys a little more which is also a good thing (it should also help with codeine-related bathroom trips but we won't mention that), just a shame that it tastes like drinking bitter chalk!
Amusing moment, we drove through a little country area and WaSp said "A deer!" Cue WaS throwing off her blanket and screaming a "A deer! Awwwww!" before realising she was exposed and frantically grabbing for the blanket in a panic. Hahahahaha, either that or very, very insane! I do wish that they wouldn't stand by the side of busy motorways, I always have the urge to move them somehow. The deer was seen because we managed to go for a 20 minute drive after my appointment, I always try to add a little bit on so that I am outside for a bit longer. I am glad I did that today.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

I really love how you can laugh at yourself, your post really made me smile. There used to be a depression board on here but people stopped posting for some reason,I am sure everyone did not suddenly recover. You would have been a great asset to that board.
So glad you managed a drive,it must be so hard looking at the same four walls.0 -
Hahahahaha! I always laugh at myself, and WaSp laughs along with me. I get by mostly on humour, it helps me cope so much. It is the one thing that I am glad that I have never lost the capacity for. I think I remember the depression thread, what a shame people stopped posting. Anyone from that thread is always welcome here, anyone at all is welcome here, I'll cling to anyone, I'm not proud!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France
