Thinking of you today LIR, hope it goes ok at the vets.
Good luck with everything WaS - probably not the most fun of days but at least by this evening you'll have so many things out of the way x.0 -

Hello everyone. It's very rainy here but littlewing skipped through the playground and it felt good watching her.
MU, wait and tell Beau in person. (Not the minute he walks through the door either). I agree that it can be shown as the effect of running out of meds.
Good luck with your appointments, WaS.
Also, good luck with the vet decisions.
I do read and think about every single one of you but can't always post/comment on it all for various reasons.
I am not too worried today about littlewing. I was more worried about how DH was handling it, but I think he's all right now. I even found myself at one stage yesterday being glad I'd had the coil rather than one of us being snipped, but as you guys say, they would have us in more urgently if it were serious.
I have had some very good moments too over the past few days. Someone I haven't seen for a long time popped in unexpectedly yesterday, had a good chat with my friend, we got a £20 off voucher for a purchase we were making (and the shop assistant needn't have done that so it was very kind of her).:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Back, with two animals.
Vet thinks we should think of a this year date for big dog though, a month, six weeks....something like that. She said she'd do it today if I wanted with no doubt, but was equally happy to let me take her home.
We gave a date to aim for, with me saying I might bring her in before then, and vet reminding me she's happy to come here ( I said not unless it was necessary...carrying a dead big dog out and trying to get it into a car is gruesome, worse because no one dare laugh at the dreadfulness of it, and if want to laugh while I cry. )
She's perfectly bouncy and happy. Vet gave me some interesting dietary ideas for last few weeks too.0 -
Sounds like you have a very compassionate, flexible vet, LIR.
I will be observing the two minutes silence at 11am, if anyone would care to join me. (And if anyone could post an appropriate picture that would be even better).:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. And how very fitting that MSE closed for the two-minute silence. Well done, MSE.(I just lurve spiders!)

(((((((((LiR)))))))))
I do feel for you, making that hard decision.
Looking back at one of my dogs, I think I probably left it too long. It didn't seem like it at the time, but looking back after the healing of time, I think I did. I so didn't want her to go.
So good on you for making the decision while big dog is still happy enough.
And you can give her loads and loads of love over the next few weeks.
Make the most of the butterfly leaves while they are there. :A(I just lurve spiders!)
