Well done, WaS. Who cares if people are listening in - it'll be in your book anyway!
I guarantee any radio waves or anything that happens when you use the phone will happen to me when I use the phone. I'm okay!
I went to get a prescription but detoured into a shopping spree. So I bought DD a cute toy ghost and toy pumpkin. I mean, really, did we need it, no. Fortunately the halloween dress in the charity shop was too big for her. I had a lovely time.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. It must be interesting for people to be listening WaS, not that anyone is listening in apart from us lot0

Feeling a bit better. No meeting tomorrow so I can sleep if I need to. Phew.
My eyes are so heavy and swollen with tiredness.0 -
Codemonkey, I posted a reply to your penguin, but it's not there now! I can only assume that I didn't press the submit reply button properly. It was just before I went out, so I guess I didn't check the post like I usually do! Bother, 'cos it was longish, and now I can't remember what I said!
I'll try later, as I have a dance class to go to now!
I am pleased with myself, because I found a dress in a charity shop that will do very well as a '50s dress for a singalonga 'Grease' thing I'm going to, this weekend. I wasn't going to get dressed up, but when I saw this, and it was only £4.99, my size and had built-in petticoats, I thought, what the hell! I never wear dresses these days, so I'll have to get some tights! :rotfl: My legs will wonder what's going on....they haven't ventured outside without trousers on, for years!
I draw the line at suspenders and stockings and pointy bras! But I've got some prim little cream gloves that I've had for years, and some cream shoes that I haven't worn for years, (heels!) and a little cream handbag to carry over my arm! I'll need some bright red lipstick! (Makeup!)
I bet when I look in the mirror I'll see my mother!(I just lurve spiders!)

WaS, hope you are all right.
It is raining lightly here so DD and I danced home under the sparkling streetlights. She is in the shower now and I am supposed to be supervising the last ten minutes of the Thursday sausage roast.
ETA: pumpkin lights up so it is quite exciting (and not such a waste of money).
WaS, Alvin Stardust is not your fault. His time was up and you are not responsible.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
Glad you had a good chat with your MIL WaS, sorry that you might be struggling tonight, hoping the APs will kick in and take the edge off.
I really need to book a doctors appointment. I've been feeling mixed for about 2 weeks now. I spent my days off just wanting to hibernate, and most of last week i had bad anxiety and paranoia (currently i keep seeing police cars and keep panicking they are following me) and my thoughts are racing and i keep ranting whihc is an up symptom. . It appears i seem to be in some kind of mixed episode, i'm not specifically down or up, but i keep getting symptoms of being down and symptoms of being up at the same time. Its very confusing. As in the past i've tended to be one extreme or the other. I did have a chat with my team leader earlier as he said when i walked in he could tell i wasn't my usual self.
I tried to explain the mixed episode but its hard to explain when i don't fully understand it myself. I also had a chat with a friend who also has bipolar and she was helpful with trying to suggest ways to deal with it
So yes need to get a doctors appointment, someone kick me if i havent done it by the end of the week. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
The voices say more and more people I have heard of are dying because I am happier and not caring about them anymore. I can't make phone calls too often.
