    Congratulations LIR!

    Back after Doctor Who!

Oh, completely random question, I discovered the ability to make this shape on my keyboard ¬¬¬¬¬¬ what on earth is it for anyone?

  • Hahahaahaha! I love that, whitewing! I had to get my keyboard replaced on my laptop and this has strange new keys, it's confusing me!

Everything ok here today, no return of my headache and no occasional stabbing pain which I usually get for a few days afterwards. It seems they are cluster headaches and we have found the solution.

I am in a ridiculously good mood about my seaside trip, I still can't believe the voices stopped for a while, all I could hear was the sea and it was beyond peaceful.

    was

Can you ( or wasp on you behalf) look for free sound recordings of the sea? There are some as meditation tracks on you tube I think? Might be nice back ground when you are home alone , alternated with rain perhaps? Or when you feel stressed?

If you have a device that plays apps there are loads of free apps that play them ....
  • That is a really good idea, LIR. The sound clearly has a relaxing effect and seems to lessen the psychosis. I have only used rain sounds before but it seems sea sounds work even better. WaSp's phone plays apps ( mine does nothing but make calls and texts) so we could swap phones sometimes if I can find an app that works. It is the only sound that I know of that can stop the voices for a while.

    I don't think I'm quite there yet am I?
I'd been tracking your thanks for the last couple of days, and then it became obvious you were going to hit the big 300k when I was out this evening at my first AmDram 'performance'! Typical!
So I decided I'd post it early;you might not have seen it until after the zeros clicked in, and even if you did, (which you did!) it would only be a small amount of time before they did, so I went for it!!!

That's all a bit garbled, but never mind!

Anyway, I just got home, and see! The zeros did click in while I was out! :T :T

    Good morning, all!

I am pleased about your voices stopping temporarily, WaS. I can't remember when it was, but I do remember how amazed I was when I realised that I had had my first day without suicidal thoughts. That was a turning point for me, because it was such a gift but also (I didn't realise it at the time) the beginning of longer and longer spans without them.
