I quite like the sloth weeing every 2 weeks thing. Beats the hell out of having to get up in the night which is another sign of my imminent decrepitude.
hahaha! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: but then you'd have to wee at the base of a tree! Anyway, it's not just weeing!

I think WaS is probably more brave considering sticking her tootsies in the sea and risking hypothermia/frostbite than actually getting there.
It may be that after all the hot, sunny weather, the sea may still be ok, tootsie-wise! :D

Oooh brave. I was in the sea on Sunday (up to my thighs) and it was fine.

  • It is a warm (ish) night too, 10 degrees warmer than last night!!

The whole 2 week thing doesn't appeal to me at all though I do know what you mean Elsien I have a downstairs bathroom and it is a long way to go at night!!

Imagine having to climb back up a tree when you're done! :rotfl:

Plus, imagine how distended your abdomen would get, with an overfull bladder and a crammed colon!

Can you imagine burying two weeks' worth in one go. I prefer the loo!

Hello WaS, hope you are enjoying your night out. I have been asleep and will go back later, but can't sleep at the moment.

I hope it is peaceful, healing, and invigorating for you, and maybe even has some blanket-free moments!

  • I did it! We just got home at 3.40am! I paddled in the sea and took a pic of Sir Pugliet on the sand which I will post over the weekend. There was no one there, we didn't see a single person! It was quite chilly but I had a jacket and my blanket, we decided to have fish and chips in the car looking at the sea for the sake of warmth. I have new pebbles and shells for my collection and then we just drove for miles and miles along quiet roads just so that I could be outside. It was wonderful!

I am delighted for you both! Wow, I bet you couldn't have imagined actually doing it when you wrote your very first post on this thread.

That's brilliant WaS, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. You should be proud of yourself.
