    Yey! Oystercatcher!

I'm glad you said it's like a 'book' and not 'soap opera'! :D

How can you not live by the sea with a name like oystercatcher! :D

I like oysters. Hardly ever have any, though. :(
(What's the oyster season? Is it not with an R in the month, or with an R in the month? Can't remember!)

    With.

I love them too. Squeeze of lemon and drop of green tobacco for me please. They are not ACTUALLY that ott a meal. If you compare cost of half a dozen oysters with a takeaway they are usually cheaper or the same, MILES healthier and very virtuous in the fat and calories front.

Talking of penguins, are people happy with Jm's suggestion?

    What's green tobacco?

I thought oysters had a lot of cholesterol, but maybe I'm confusing them with something else.

Re. The Etiquette. I've added the extra little bit about not naming. It's now on the 'original' post, so will show the next time I post the etiquette.

Have looked it up and I was wrong, they don't and one source even said they help to boost HDL cholesterol in your body, that's the 'good' cholesterol.

    So, munch away!

I know my mind is more settled. I managed a good twenty minute mindfulness meditation to day.

I couldn't manage ten minutes earlier this year.

For my eyes ( yet another physical issue, between WaS and I they could probably train medical students reasonably well ;) ) I'm meant to put a warm pack on them a couple of times a day for about ten minutes or so and was finding I couldn't settle to do it, or relax.

I do have to spend a lot of time if I do every thing I am meant to do, doing quite boring stuff in personal care, but if am now being more positive and thinking I will dig out the eye pack and consider it a time for mindfulness I think.

I'm not so good at mindfulness meditation as such. I find it easier to be mindful while I am doing basic household stuff.

I bought some juicy apple shampoo and that smell is wonderful.

I also started reading 'And the Mountains echoed'. I loved the first chapter of it (haven't got any further yet).

Do you listen to the radio? Radio 4 or some such, where there might be interesting factual progs or discussions? If so, it might be possible to schedule your health 'chores' around listening to specific programmes? Sounds like a good 'excuse' to have to listen to some good progs, if you ask me! :D
