Steff used to love watching TV as well.
We realised one evening that she was getting excited every time Corrie went off, as soon as she heard the theme tune she did her little stampy paw dance so we'd notice her and take her out for a walk.

    Tee here,

The cats never get up close , they watch from a sensible distance. :) dog dog gets right up close, as you see, the more excited the closer. With sheep dog trials she used to run around the back of a tv on a table to try and find the tiny sheep, but now accepts they are tv sheep ( most of the time) .

Trying to choose which dog dog pictures to put up is hard. Eg. I dithered over one of her watching a programme which included a look at ( iirc) a behavioural study or situation where an orangutang and a dog had made friends and the orangutang was keeping the dog as a 'pet' I.e. Meeting some of its needs. Dog dog was transfixed by this segment. I have a feeling she was wondering if I was an orangutang. ;)

I have had a wonderful day and the best bit about it was that I was only going about my normal daily life.

  • Lovely news, ww! I had good news - the big scary bid I did the other week, where I had a slight disaster - we've been shortlisted :D

    Boo!

Got on ok at the Dr back on medication which is a good thing and as I know I need it. Been on anti depressants on and off for 11 years- and i do wonder why i have spells where i think i dont need them!

Got a referral to hospital consultant for another ongoing issue- i had long been putting off tackling.

Was having a nice relaxed evening until i smashed my head on the stair gate (dont ask) and now have a comic style egg protruding from my forehead- which is blue- really hurt (and still does 3 hours later) and made me feel quite dizzy. Mum is on holiday and OH works night i had to call him to come check on me as it really frightened me. He had to go back but got me all settled in bed with drinks a snack and a dvd and is only 5 mins away if i need him.
