I don't watch any other soaps, so can't comment on those. Oh, forgot, I like Casualty - is that a soap?(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Started a sore throat while I was out yesterday, fell asleep over my iPad without logging out and woke up with a streaming cold this morning, feeling rough. Pictures of harpsichords and other weird keyboards will have to wait, I'm afraid. Sorry. Will stay in bed today, festering.
Ps. I tried starting the scrabble game on another thread, but absolutely no-one has joined in!!!!:((I just lurve spiders!)

I try not to enter into the Arms too much. It's a bit rough for me sometimes.
I must get out of bed soon, but I am all snuggly.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
Yep, I don't go down there very often, maybe half a dozen times in all these years.
Hospital went ok. I did cry but that's sort of standard for me. I liked the consultant more than fir did, which is pretty unusual.
Penguin if people are scared of medical things
He is a second opinion and he is of the same opinion as me, that experimental surgery is worth a go at this stage so he will be a yes vote on the team. In fact, he feels strongly that without it there is no chance of any improvement or even stability for any serious length of time and feels a lot scanned as normal is not functioning normally.
Two ops were primarily on the cards, he feels this is not a reasonable expectation to have and I should prepare for a number of them if we do go down this route. Ops don't really scare me so that doesn't worry me in itself. The practicalities do a bit. Also that there is no saying it will solve things like fatigue issues.0 -
Sounds like they are considering all aspects carefully, LIR. It's promising that they are even talking about experimental surgery, as a lot of people seem to struggle to be considered for that kind of thing, even though they have read about it themselves online.
I guess if there is stability or improvement, that could have a knock on benefit for the fatigue issues anyway. I have always found the more tiring part of medical treatment is the assessing phase, not the actual doing something (although I don't mean to imply that your fatigue is the same of my tiredness).:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them.
