    Wot they said :D

Full(ish) :rotfl: report of flirting please MU! :D
Well, I accidentally met a lovely guy on a kind of dating site (it was one I signed up to years ago and had forgotten about :o), we were messaging each other in there quite a bit and now we've pretty much been texting none stop, we have lots in common and I think we are hopefully skyping at the weekend (and he wants to meet me in person at some point). so we shall see what happens :D for now I'm enjoying the flirting and getting to know him!

Good luck for today WaS, hope it goes well :)

    Oooooh MU get you!

Ate all the beef Pyxis, so you could have had some after all as there was loads. Got duck tonight but not sure there'll be enough for you ;)

How did it go yesterday WaS? Harry said that he's thinking of you. Massive breakthrough there! Also he said that he'll have to eventually join us all as he'll get no Peace from me until he does, I was only showing him the kind messages from everyone.

Got my procedure at the end of the month, hate being put to sleep :( I could have an epidural or whatever you call it but I'm not sure I want to stare at the good looking young bloke with me legs in stirrups :o
  • Good afternoon, everyone!

Hahahahahaha! WaSp was right, Sir Pugliet does have an account! I am in hysterical laughter here, I need to compose myself before I write anything else. That is simply adorable!

I had an epidural when I had DS. As long as I was pain free, I didn't care who looked at me at that point.

Even yesterday at the coil fitting was very dignified. I thought I'd be embarrassed but I wasn't.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

I just try and be clean and well turned out. I never know who might look at me where. Some consultants don't look at you at all, making me wonder if they practise medicine physically or solely via paper.

Others interested in brains suddenly want to look at your feet or your nether regions or whatever for confirming secondary symptoms. ( one of the reasons I am a bit obsessive about underwear before hospital)

Duck! Yum! Lay a place for me!

Re. your procedure, I think they put a screen up so you don't see what the surgeon is up to! And they may also give you headphones playing music so you can't hear them either!.You'd be ok far more quickly with the epidural, able to go straight home etc, and no after-effects from the GA.
I hate the after-effects. I'd go for epidural every time, but at the end of the day each to their own. I know some people just want to be blotto, no matter what!, whereas I like a blow by blow account of what's going on, and would even like to watch a live video of it all happening!
    But then I'm very odd!
I once had a bronchoscopy, and refused a sedative, and watched the procedure on the video! I love anatomy, and was fascinated to see the scope go past the larynx! I have a copy of the video somewhere!
