    Ooooh, yes! I really must have garden gnome, too. I have waited for so long for one of those. Perhaps I can do one for birthday and one for Christmas and save him twice. Every year I have to make a Christmas list like a child or he gets into a panic, he then passes it onto MIL, too. I always think I am really easy to buy for, anything fantasy, anything cute and fluffy, WaSp would completely disagree!

    He isn't as bad as BIL, however who has been trying to buy me a cushion for 3 years on behalf of MIL. First he couldn't find a cushion shop, then he didn't know what size, then he didn't know what pattern or material. It has become a standing joke between WaSp and I every Christmas. We are wondering if he can get to 5 years without finding one. I know it sounds slightly mean but really you have to know BIL to realise how typical this is. WaSp is considering taking him to a supermarket this year and standing him in front of cushions. Sadly, the reality is that everytime MIL gives him money for a cushion he spends it on alcohol and then has nothing left to buy one with.

    I really love Christmas! I cover the house in sparkly things and Santa's and but crackers and everything I didn't have as a child. WaSp actually hates it but he has learnt to tolerate me over the years and just goes along with it now. My plan for this year is to make my own Christmas cake! I have never tried before so with a lot of assistance from WaSp I am determined to give it a go!
