In completely different news I have just noticed Sir Pugliet is sitting with nose pressed against my faerie door! WaSp says he has been chasing them back in everytime they came out while I was asleep! Hmm...

We went to the beach today. Little miss has only been once before when she was very little. When we went to a play area recently where the floor is covered in sand she hated it so I was not sure what she would make of it. But she loved it... We went and splashed in the little pools and the sea. Holding mummy hand at first but soon brave enough to run around whilst poor daddy tried to keep up with us with the bags.

WaS, did you ever see the flower fairies book by Cicely Mary Barker?
I was the most ungirly girl ever, didn't do dolls etc, but I spent hours reading this one and looking at the pictures.

I haven't elsien, I will have to look for it! I do have a large of book of fairy scenes that are actually jigsaw puzzles that you can pop out of the pages if you wish, it is so beautiful.

I have a fairy book wasp would like. You can guess where this might go?

Its a book of pressed fairies. Like pressed flowers . Splat.

The flower fairies are utterly, utterly beautiful. I loved them. I begged my mother to leave the bellus in the garden because of the little bellus fairy ( a chap if I remember correctly) and I learnt lots of plants with them. Very educational little books. Even now I think of the sycamore fairy when sycamores flower.

Oo-er! I hope he doesn't catch one! You'll have to train him to 'leave' on command!

Tell WaSp he has to buy it for you to make amends for all the fairy splats dotted round your front room. You might find it cheaper on abebooks if you don't mind secondhand. Although the Amazon second hand prices aren't bad.
