I feel guilty as I haven't been around & I think that's why I had the mare. There were some new people that joined & they decided that I wasn't very friendly, so I had to go :( Aaaw thanks TeamWaS :D Hope everyone's doing OK, & those that ain't should believe Stephen Fry.

LOLOL. No-one really has the remit to speak on behalf of Team WaS, but I think we've already sort of taken a family resolution to include people, not exclude them, haven't we? :D I think you're safe! :rotfl:

    Sorry.:(

I have deleted the post. Would you delete your quote, please JB?
    Thanks.

Ooops, I wasn't getting at you at all, I was getting at me! But yes, I have deleted for safety. In case anyone wonders, it was discussing the fact that some people with bi-polar say that they wouldn't give up having BP at all because of the wonderful creativity it brings, but I then went on to discuss another ethical issue (non mental health entirely) which I then felt might be a possible trigger. (NOT a known trigger to any regular posters on this thread, but I am aware there are lots more readers!)

Thanks JM, but you didn't have to delete your own post! That was quite interesting! I was, however, wondering how anyone would know whether a foetus was hearing or not!

WaS, I was wondering whether any of the BUMs might contain your psychology degree notes, in which case, they might be of use!

You'll have to get de-BUMming! :D (Quite apart from the fact that now I'm dying to know what's in them, too! How nosey is that! :D)

Congrats on the A! You see? You didn't have to worry!

It's also fun doing your course by proxy! Keep the questions coming!

  • Hahahahahaha I have my dissertation and a couple of psychology books somewhere! They may be in the BUM's! Obviously no one has to even read my course posts but it might be of interest to someone to see what healthcare providers are actually being taught, as I said advocacy is particularly applicable for when those difficult moral questions pop up! I will skip the controversial bits that might be potential triggers but see if I can find a homework question that is safe to post weekly.

We would never ban you, Duke! You are stuck with us!

So sweet of you to think of a camper van, whitewing. Made me smile. blacked out windows might work, I would have to check them several (hundred) times to make sure people see in but otherwise if they can't see me, I'm fine!

I am in a good mood today. I am actually far happier than I thought I would be to study again. I feel a tiny bit more useful.

But it was my post that had the penguin! I think most people in mental health, including loads of people with bi-polar disorder, know that lots of people with BP value having it although the lows can be horrible.

I was thinking of your course and the thread, WaS, and was entertained by the idea of us trying to discuss bioethics on a thread where we are very penguine aware. I wondered if we ought to have a special penguin bioethics penguin thread where we could discuss stuff (keeping off known triggers)?

I also came up with a new acronym - CBP* - for the sort of penguin which attacks immediately rather than sidling up and pretending to be friendly** :p

    *Crotch biting penguin
** Of course most penguins are lovely, but you do get the odd one.... but here's a lovely one :)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRceN2PrR5A

Found an article where Paula and Tomato were expecting a second baby in 2009 but don't know if the baby was conceived naturally.

    Tomato!
