  • The flowers sound wonderful, haybel! I would love to see a pic! Well done on the doctors appointment, I always see my own doctor, too. Try to get in a few naps with Max over the weekend if you can, as well as your autoimmune disorders you are probably still under the weather from your babies being ill the other week. It can take a while to get your energy fully back.

Thanks WaS think I am just physically and emotionally exhausted both of them ill at once really took it out of me and as I suffer a lot with tiredness it has not helped. Max will like my 'prescription' for cuddly naps, they really are his favourite. He is snuggling with me as I type. He has brought one of his blankets with him.

He was very proud of himself earlier as he soothed little one when she was upset. He went and gave her a kiss. He loves to give her kisses and so so incredibly gentle- he is such a bouncy excitable boy generally but is incredible with her. The bond they have is lovely. She wanted to share her breakfast this morning lol.

    Elsien
    Gitdog sounds lovely.

Can't sleep. Keep waking up. :(
Have to speak to someone about something tomorrow and it's been worrying me. :(

Just had an unusual anxiety dream involving very strange landscapes and streams with stepping stones in the shape of lizards' heads that came to life if you stepped on them. It was a bit scary but not continuously so - a bit 'good cop, bad cop'!
I know why I dreamt that; I'd been watching a rather funny episode of 'Not Going Out' where they'd got stranded in a car in a forest at night, and approached by men in masks, (who turned out to be harmless old doggers! )

Trouble is, I like to wake up around 4.45, so it's a pain if I fall asleep now!

    Thanks, JM!
Bit strange about your post disappearing! I didn't see it. Are you sure you didn't accidentally post it on another thread? It might be worth searching through your posts via the User CP page, to see if that's what happened.

Re my anxious event. I tend to get myself worked up about anything that remotely resembles confrontation or dissension, or has the potential for it. In this case , there was the added stress of it involving a large part of my income.
As it happens, it appears to have gone ok, with no need for me to worry. I say 'appears to', because it's not really over. What I need to do is to try not to worry about things that might happen, and that is something I have always had great difficulty in doing, especially when the situation involves things that are beyond my control or influence.
Part of the problem is that there isn't anyone with whom I can share the 'burden', such as it is, of the 'worry', or provide support if there is a 'confrontation'.
It's so silly, because we're talking really mild stuff here! If it didn't involve my income, it wouldn't be a problem at all! In the past, I've had far, far worse situations to contend with!

Silly me! Anyway, I treated myself, afterwards, to a nice lunch in one of my favourite cafès, and then went on a charity shop trawl, finding a few good things in the process!
Now having a sit down with a cup of tea and a bun!

Yes. And I've had a look for you, JM, and it isn't in your list of posts today.
Did you actually see it come up as a post on the thread?
