No..... So dibuzz is probably right
Never mind, I've caught up now (except for giving thanks to people, which is sooo behindhand that I can't face trawling back through the last 15 or so pages lololol)Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
I am very fond of git dog. One day I would love to meet him. Perhaps he and kiwi could walk some where together one day.
Today I felt well enough to garden with fir. This made me really happy. I love 'to do'. A friend visit this afternoon, which was great too, some one I adore and relax with.
This evening we have a social commitment. I am realising how I have mispaced my day very badly. I have come for a 'rest' not a nap, just a physical rest, and a calm quiet time , for an hour or so.
Fir had suggested we just go for an hour or so, show our faces, smile and kiss the hosts and say we wouldn't miss it for the world but I have to get back. ( they are one of they few people in rl who know I am waiting for operations, not because we are emotionally close, but because practically they might do things like chickens while I am in, we do practical favours for each other, but are not close)
That might be the best plan. I am fed up of being the woman who leaves parties early though!0 -
Never mind, LiR - you won't know yourself once you have recovered from your ops, you will be bouncing round like a Tigger! (Or like a git dog

That sounds like a good plan lir, you can always stay a little longer if you feel up to it.
I said I wasn't going to the club after the funeral then said I will go for a short time but stayed for 2 and a half hours because I had someone I knew to talk to.14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140 -

LIR, can you remind me why Kiwi is called Kiwi?
Is he black like the shoe polish?
(Or green like the fruit?)
Or looks like a kiwi?
Or comes from New Zealand? (??)
Or looks like a (New Zealand) lamb? (He'd have to be a Bedlington Terrier for that one!)(I just lurve spiders!)

I love :eek:0 -
Couldn't resist googling Bedlingtons.
Do you know, I've only ever seen a Bedlington once in my whole life! I'm surprised they're not more popular!
Better not look, WaS! You'll want one! :rotfl: How could anyone resist?(I just lurve spiders!)

Hehehe
Two of those:D
Fir asked me not to talk about the kiwi's breed or name much on open forum, so I called him the kiwi fruit with teeth. Kiwi stuck.
This pillow dog looks like a kiwi fruit, or is it just me?0 -
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

I want all the dogs, they're all adorable! Kiwi is definitely a kiwi!
I love the prison van, that is beautiful! I want one of those, too!
Memory disaster of the day doing a good deed-
I thought I would make WaSp a cup of tea for once instead of him doing so for me. Boiled the kettle, got the milk, no problems at all. Then poured the water out of the kettle straight over the work surface which then splashed down all over my feet. I totally forgot to put a cup there and poured the water into thin air. I knew the next step was to pour out water, somehow my brain skipped that I needed something to pour it into. What's more is I stood and watched it pouring out thinking something is wrong but I don't know what it is...
I can't tell you how much I hate this, I can't trust myself to do the simplest of things because I forget what I am doing half-way through. It doesn't always happen but it is potentially dangerous when it does. I still don't know why it happens, it didn't at the start of psychosis but it has become worse and worse over the years to the point where I need a carer. I just sat and cried afterwards while WaSp tried to be sympathetic while feeling very frustrated with me and reminding me that he does things for me for a reason.
I am now upset, banned from making tea for life and have very sore feet!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France
