The Bristol hot air balloon thing is FAB. Never been but have seen them from a distance in the past. Super doozer.
I also like the happy pictures in the thread, I am not good at this from the Internet, nor am I much of a photographer, but it have a few, maybe when I see happy things I could snap them and put that in?
I have an old one of a beautiful sky ( sunrise) early in the year I couldn't not snap. Sometimes even without rainbows the skies are full of joyous colour!0 -
Those pictures are beautiful
I have some from my travels of animals, sunrise/sunset, local life and colour if you would like to see one or two of my favourites?
Happy camping and playing JM. *waves to Harry and Duke and everyone else*0 -

I think uplifting things to see and talk about are always worth it personally.
I find so etimes when life feels bleak reminding myself about beauty is the best remedy.0 -
Thanks Team WaS
I've asked Harry to post but he says not at the moment thank you. We've been out for a spot of lunch to a chinese place which is all you can eat for £5.95, so we did
I love a good photo too, especially a beautiful sky. I'll sort some out. I find a nice bunch of yellow & orangey coloured flowers fill me with elation.0 -
Harry, you don't have to post at all. If one day you decide to you will be very welcome though.

I love watching hot air balloons drifting serenely past. Bristol balloon festival has been on my to do but never happened list for a good few years now. Sod's law this year now I've got all the time on my hands I forgot it was on.
And speaking if to do lists. (Fanfare of trumpets please) I have finally updated my CV, put in an application for advocacy voluntary work and put my name down for a computer skills assessment. Work, pah, who's got time for that! All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Hurrah elsien! Well done you.0

You'd have laughed if you'd seen me with the CV. Sat there squirming that I'd got no key skills or positive qualities, while the trainer sighed a lot.:rotfl: I'm so glad I got help - doing it on my own I'd still be there next Christmas. Or the computer would have gone through the window, one or the other. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Welcome Harry!

Well done, Elsien!
Beautiful pic, LIR!
Happy camping, JM!
(For more calming pics, don't forget The Halcyon Thread. I've put several more on there recently. I've tried to put in pics of varying types of cheer, so apart from a couple of posts by a pair of numbskulls, they're all relaxing in different ways. Only trouble is, I don't know how to resize pics from an iPad, so they are all strange sizes, but you can enlarge them to get a better view!)(I just lurve spiders!)
