might give you some ideas
Gosh, I love this! BUG have done a really great job! I've also seen advance directives which are credit card sized so that people can carry them round. These say really helpful things like 'If I go into hospital I am allergic to morphine, and Gitdog will need looking after' (obviously personalised!)Ex board guide. Hey folks! Regarding the emergency thing, I have been using the Lions Club "message in a Bottle scheme for some years now. Because I live on my own, I was a bit concerned about what would happen if I fell unconscious or something, and then in my chemist's one day I saw this idea.
Basically, it's a cylindrical plastic tub about 3" high. Inside there is a form which you fill in with all sorts of details, plus you could add more info on separate paper, then you roll it up and put it in the tub. The tub then goes permanently on a shelf inside the door of your fridge.
There are two small square green and white stickers, like the Red Cross symbol, but green and white. One goes on the inside of your front door, by the handle, to show emergency services that you have a 'Message in a Bottle'. The other goes on the fridge door, to show that the tub is in there.
You can download spare/replacement forms. You could keep a copy of the form in your handbag.
The forms are for things like emergency contact numbers, medications you are on, pets that might need care, other important info etc. etc.
The tubs are free.
See below for an extract from the website:-
Message in a bottle
How does it work?
The Lions' Message In a Bottle scheme is a simple idea designed to encourage people to keep their personal and medical details on a standard form and in a common location - the fridge.
The bottle is kept in the fridge, where the emergency services will be able to find it in the event of being called to your home. We will know you have a bottle by the two labels displayed on the inside of the front door or on the main entrance to your home and the other is for the door of your fridge.
This scheme is free to the user. Whilst it is focused on the more vulnerable people in our community, anyone can fall downstairs, so this scheme can benefit anyone, including you.
As a minimum it will save the Emergency Services valuable time identifying you and your emergency contacts. By telling whether you have special medication or allergies or not, it is a potential lifesaver and provides peace of mind to users and their friends and families.
Bottles are free of charge and can usually be found in your local Chemist or Doctors Surgeries.
Thanks to a number of other organisations, you may also find that you can obtain one through your nearest;
Neighbourhood Watch group
Age Concern
Council Offices
Housing Associations
and many other places including Police stations.
If you are unable to find a Bottle, please contact your local Lions Club.
To find out more information about the scheme please visit the Lion’s Club website or if you would like the opportunity to get involved with this scheme and many others that help those in need, then please contact your local Lions Club or email mdhq@lions.org.uk or telephone 0121 441 4544 for details of your nearest Lions Club or click here to find your nearest club.

Off on a very different tangent!
Just heard that the Bristol Hot Air Balloon festival is about to start. I've never been to the festival, but for a few years I visited that area regularly and each year would see loads in the sky. Some of the novelty shapes were very funny!
Here are some ordinary ones!

I have actually had a ride in one, for my fortieth. It was something I'd always wanted to do. It was fantastic!(I just lurve spiders!)
