I don't know if this is in your area, WaS, and I don't know how reliable it would be but I am wondering if there is some scope for you to get help via The Good Gym.

Basically, an exerciser registers to join the Good Gym, and is DBS checked. They then go on a mission, eg to take a paper to an old person. They get their exercise by running/jogging/walking to that person's house (and back). It increases their motivation as someone is expecting their visit.

Oh WaS, I've just been on the photography thread, and I had to show you these fantastic photos that Oblivion took of blue tits and one incongruous chaffinch at his bird-bath!..........

This one I've captioned:- "Oh do hurry up, for goodness' sake! And don't use up all the water!"


And this has got to be:- "Who is he?" "I don't know. I thought he came with you!" "No, not with me." "Did he come with you, then?" "No. Never seen him before!" " I wonder who he is?" "Let's go and ask them over the other side" "Ok".

It's a thread in the Moneysavers' Arms called 'Favourite Photos You have Taken Over the Years'. There are some fabulous ones, all taken by members! There's so much talent out there!
