I've been all brave and made a phone call. I have another phone call to make to sort out physio but I can't make myself call them. Damn phone problem.

Well done on making the call, hope you get the other one sorted. Phones are just horrible!

I called the agency back, as soon as they answered the phone cut off (not sure if it was them or me, I have terrible reception around here so could have been). Phoned back and left a message but haven't heard anything.

Just about to drive home so they're pretty much guaranteed to call back in that time.
  • Guess who just picked up a pint of mug of just made tea with the wrong arm, which then decided to give out and lose all feeling? Pint of extremely hot tea all over my lap. It is very sore and red and I am kicking myself because I know that I can't trust my right arm. At least it distracts from the other pain?

  • Oh WaS - how many times? You have to DRINK the liquid, you cannot absorb it through your clothing!

If you can't stay in a cool shower to take the burn away, just put a cold wet tea towel over it & keep changing it for a cool one till it stops burning. I could take a while, hope it diminishes soon.

Hahahahaha! And there was me thinking it was a new way to increase my fluid intake.

I am keeping it cool with tea towels, it's still rather sore. I am not doing too well this week, really!

Oh, oh we got a hail storm complete with thunder! I was as happy as a pig in muck for the 10 minutes it lasted with my little nose pressed against the window. Then it stopped and the sun came out and we were back to our early spring. You people with the snow aren't puffing on the clouds hard enough, I've been waiting weeks.

Any word on the job, tea?

Hope next month is better for you, whitewing and well done on the exercise class!

Where is everyone? *Gets the big stick out* Poke. Poke poke.

I lay down on the sofa with dumbass dog for cuddles at 4.30. I just woke up. Didn't even remove my lenses.

Tiredness headache, so a bit cross eyed. Waking up at silly o'clock again, still trying to track down where the alarm is that is going off at all hours of the night so I can kill the owner. Although talking to the neighbours, thereamay be a queue.
About to head off to training class, with no enthusiasm at all. Probably be back on here tomorrow night, sorry to be a wet blanket.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • Aw, I hope training class goes well at least, elsien. Alarms drive me insane, even one far away in the distance will keep me awake. I really hope you manage to get some sleep tonight.

Heh I woke up and dumbass dog was on the floor munching a bone loudly. Probably scared off by my warthog snoring.

Elsien, I hate alarms going off. They're at the pitch where you just can't ignore them. Having said that, it was ours once. Our old alarm was due a service and the company that provided it had gone out of business and nobody made it anymore. It worked fine as long as there was power but if there wasn't, it'd go off and there would be no way to shut it off until the power came back. And of course the period while we were waiting for a new company to come was the time when we'd blow 2 fuses at different times and there was a power cut overnight. Our alarm went off for ages and DH just slept through it.
