Haha! Many's the comedy argument I've had with OH about fig rolls! I say I don't like them, he says I don't know as I've never tried them, I say they look like dog biscuits.... :rotfl:.0

So today I've cut my meds. My GP suggested it as the side effects were making me miserable and she prescribed lower dose pills. So far, I feel terrible but hopefully this will settle down. I wouldn't even attempt this without supervision as they're really addictive. I am in a bit of pain today though so maybe I should have tapered off a bit more.
Penguin
Also the voice in my head telling me to die is very loud today
End Penguin.
Can I come in the blanket fort? I have lucozade and jelly sweetsEu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

Oh you are totally putting me to shame gingernutty!! I need to put the clean washing away and find my passport.... didn't manage either of those things last night
:rotfl:.
Trust me, I'm not. :rotfl:
The networking session only lasted about an hour and a half and had me totally exhausted.
New people, speaking in public and discussing matters with people in authority really wipe me out.
But it was important, so I did it.
The meeting with the builder and architect went about as well as could be expected.
You know there's a problem when they start giggling hysterically at the state of the place - but on ensuring the lack of the rear chimney, there's no need for Acrow props as they first feared.
That's a relief.
They have dealt with properties blighted with Japanese Knotweed before, but have never dealt with such miserable little house where every DIY job has been completely botched.
We discussed me moving out for the work and that I wanted as much notice as possible.
They talked me out of having the chimney breasts removed, they basically have to rebuild the bathroom (walls, ceiling, floor, electrics, WTH, why not a new roof?), sort all the ground floors out, replaster everywhere, rewire and, and, and... the list is pretty much going to cover three A4 pages.
And I've got another cold. I woke up during the night unable to breathe through my nose and with a stonking headache.
Possible PENGUIN
I have chronic, perennial allergic rhinitis exacerbated by seasonal allergic rhinitis (hayfever) which means I'm perpetually sniffling.
I can only tell the difference between a cold and the rhinitis by how I'm feeling and the colour of the mucus in my tissues.
Yes, I'm one of those people who looks into their tissues.
I'm running a temperature, I can't breathe through my nose and usually the mucus runs thin and clear or white today it's a greenish colour.
Dammit! I'm all lurgified again!
End of PENGUIN
So yeah, not so well.
I've got to pick up a prescription from the GP, take some stuff to the charity shop, rip some more CDs, try to sort out the sewing pile and play some records but I'd like to join you under the duvet fort, if I may and watch something U Rated.
Hugs to everybody.
XX:huh: Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
