There's definitely a huge withdrawal things with a lot of medicines. I'm about to cut my meds in half and then cut them again so preparing myself. Apparently the one I'm on for the face pain is difficut to get off so wish me luck.

    ((tea)). Its so unfair.

Why am I so tired? I slept ok last night, I napped for 2.75 hours and I still feel exhausted.

gingernutty - very impressed with all your achievements! Fancy having a go at my 'to do' list?? :D

    Depends, innit? What's on it?

Today, I got a hair cut, got my feet sorted out, lunched at a cafe watching the snow, shopped, sorted out the dry washing, put on and set out to dry another load, sorted out more stuff for the charity shop and attended a local police and community meeting.

I sat at the front, asked questions about the local area, about steps being taken to help prevent a re-occurrence of the antisocial behaviour round my way, swapped 'phone numbers with the local PCSO and the landlord licensing officer and schmoozed with the local councillor.

    Get me?!! Networking!! :D

Tomorrow - a meeting with the builder and architect/project planner, a 'phone call to the landlord licensing officer to carry on the conversation we started today and a trip to the local charity shop with a bin bag of stuff.
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...

  • Ha ha! I had a look at burquas when we were discussing WaS buying one. Amazon has now got totally over-excited by this, and keeps suggesting that I should buy one. I enjoy the way this thread confuses the hell out of tinternet! :D

    Well.

I feel really defeated. My GP practise is letting me down again.

I feel exhausted. Yesterday I had my first Zumba class in 6 weeks, which I took really gently - didn't even get sweaty. Then I had a language class in the afternoon, just chat, and felt very tired, so I didn't even attempt my usual tap class in the evening.

Went to sleep really early, but woke at 2.30 am. :( got back to sleep about 5.30, which is when I'm usually up! Woke again just before 7.

I feel really tired. I suppose it's 6 weeks of relative inactivity, and not being well, but I've been really careful not to overdo things.

Am going to another gentle Zumba later on this morning, and then a supermarket shop. There's no snow here, but I want to make sure I'm stocked up, just in case we get any. I expect I'll be in bed early again!

  • Those of you wanting to come off meds, make sure your doctors are aware - mine was rather upset when I halved my doses without her knowledge and then wondered why my body was having a snit fit :)

Am having a very low day today, even though it's Friday and payday. I hate being fat and slow, I hate being lazy, I hate feeling like I'm going nowhere, but most of all I hate the fact I don't seem to have the willpower to change any of this :'(

HBS........you and me both! House a tip, drowning in paperwork, phone calls to make, and am too terrified to do any of it.

  • Pyxis, shall we make a duvet fort and watch Studio Ghibli films?
