Honestly? Fir doesn't pop in this thread ( yet). He finds it confusing when I've spoken about it in here..

Damn
And i'm not even going to ask about the peas.
What came first, the music or the misery?
Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?0 -
You don't have to ask, LSF, the peas are explained in a penguin (part of a post which might be distressing and so is written in white - it will become visible if you highlight it) about 2 pages back.
2 pages pass in about 10 minutes - OK, in a couple of hours - on this threadEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
Ok, I'm taking the dogs out for a quick walk.

Thanks, i get it now - glad you explained what a "penguin post" is as i'd not come across that term before. What came first, the music or the misery?

Penguins are our invention, on here. It's so people can discuss things which might be distressing, and other people won't come across them by accident - you can choose to read penguins or not depending on how you are feeling.
We post an 'etiquette post' about every 10 pages. This isn't about rules, it's to explain some of the things about this thread to actually help new people to participate and feel safeEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
And when I talk of feeding penguins I am not encouraging distressing posts, I really am going to feed real penguins next month!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

I've set about a to do list - no music lesson
Posted a letter, dyed my hair, eyebrows and eyelashes, cashed a winning Euromillions ticket (£9), ripped some CDs onto hard drive, updated my Walkman, filed and sorted paperwork, had my eyebrows threaded, made appointments for my hair and chiropody, did a load of laundry and sorted out a few more bits for the charity shop.
I've fallen in love with Helplessness Blues and bought the album. :smileyhea
Found a piece of Bond music called "Little Nellie" (about 1:40 in) and found that in a charity shop.
Found The Fray, Gaelic Storm and The Holloways as well.
Well chuffed.
I am dreading going back to work. With a couple of nights annual leave tacked on to my off duty, I've had two weeks off.
I've used that to recuperate from that flaming cold that's been going round and not got around to doing half the stuff I wanted to do.
I go back on Saturday and have no idea what'll greet me when I go back.
I received a couple of missed calls early into my time off and, on 'phoning in to see what was what, was told the satellite office I work in has been comandeered for another department. There were two options about where I voted we should go.
I voted but have heard nothing since. I have no idea where I'll be or where the set up is or anything.
Anyway, I'm off to bed. Busy day tomorrow....:rotfl::huh: Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0
