Has anyone else found if they haven't taken their meds they're condition deteriotes quite rapidly? I ask as I thought I'd run out of meds, didn't have any yesterday or today. I've just spent the last hour fighting off panic attacks, hysterically cryingbr and generally hating my brain for not being able to shut off along with horrible electric shock type feelings. Literally just emptied everything out of my drawers and by way of what right now feels like a miracle I found one of my mood stabilisers left. I've taken it now and still feel badly shaken but waiting for it to kick in.

I guess it just scares me how quickly my mood can go downhill just from not taking my meds :(

Hugs, MU. I find the same particularly with the anti-psychotics. I also tend to go into withdrawal very rapidly which is when I get those electric shock feelings you describe. I am so dependant on them that if I miss a dose I don't sleep at all, the voices get worse and I start to have some very weird thoughts. If I missed two days I would probably need hospitalising and I wish I was exaggerating.

Can you pick up some more medication tomorrow? I keep some in reserve which my GP knows I have but I am not sure how easy it is to get extra without your GP's permission. In my case because mine is a very old medication that few people are on the pharmacist doesn't always have it so I need to keep a few spare.

I am sat on peas wrapped in a teatowel and munching figs!

    Wot an image! :D:D
Only on this thread, eh? :rotfl:

(Perhaps I should clarify.....WaS isn't a shepherd in a nativity play, it's not her wrapped in the teatowel, it's the peas!) :rotfl:

:( I forgot to log off again, last night! (I fall asleep!)

LIR, I've been meaning to ask for ages.......what are the rates that you and Fir are 'lost'/'found' in?
    Former Council Tax?
    Water rates?
    A village called Rates?
    I can't work it out!

Tea, that's a comprehensive good morning!

I hope your day goes well.

Pyxis, any rates....banks rates, mortgage rates, any thing that I need to spend time comparing. Do none of that ATM though. ( oops).

I am working from home. Gitdog and I are both struggling with this today. Mainly because he has spent the last hour bashing the bottles on the wine rack with his nose,
then barking at them because they're rattling. Which is not conducive to me typing reports.

I shall be glad to see the back of January, although it hasn't been all bad.

I'm glad we are still making new friends on here.

I have contacted the organiser to join the exercise group. I am feeling extremely nervous and trying desperately to talk myself out of it.

When I'm going somewhere for the first time and feeling very nervous about it, eg when I started Zumba, I found it helped if I thought to myself, " Now, what's the very, very worst that could happen? "

The very, very worst that could happen is that you hate it. No-one dies, or goes bankrupt, or loses their house in a flood.....no, the very worst is that you absolutely hate it! So what do you do then? You don't go back!

In fact, I even tell myself, (and this helps a lot!), that if I really, really hate it, I shall leave halfway through. I give myself permission to do that.

And do you know what, I never have!
And I've never not gone back!

So, give yourself permission to leave if you want to! It's not work, it's your leisure time, so you can do whatever you want!
