hope you've recovered ok now.
I haven't been doing the 5:2 it didn't really suit me, I've just cut out the rubbish and been doing more exercise and it seems to have done the trickI didn't really have a target as such, it was just when I seen yours I wondered what the 'ideal' weight would be. I am a bit taller than you though so probably wouldn't be the same.
Morning all
My DD is a nightmare been up since 5 am  she's bounding about here full of beans as well while OH and I struggle to keep our eyes open!
Must get ready for work  for now
Around 9st 7 or 8 is my target weight thats probably not the same as 'ideal weight'. For my height I should probably ideally be around 9st but, given my age and my weight over the past decades plus the fact that I still want to enjoy my food and I do go away on AI holidays a few times every year, I chose 9.8 as a weight which I could hopefully maintain without feeling I was suffering and contantly being ultra careful.
I feel comfortable with that weight and I look much better physically - if I lost another half stone I would look scraggy especially around the upper arms and neck. Its a happy compromise for me. I still can't really believe that 5:2 worked so well - I was VERY sceptical when I started it.ELITE 5:2

Morning all
Parents stayed up to watch the footie and are looking very bleary eyed this morning bless them. My Dad has had his rude card and he's going to open his presents later when my sister gets home.
Pleased I've managed to use one of the gifts from my pressie box for it (Britain's best dish cookbook) so all in all I've spent less than a tenner but he has three cool presents
Better get ready- off shopping today, knocking for PD on the way :rotfl:Debt free 6th December 2014

Morning, I haven't been on for ages and was having a quick catch up and saw your problems with the tax credit office house elf. I had an ongoing battle with them for over 10 years in the end I phoned my MP and got an appointment. He was really helpful and took my case on. It got resolved within a month. Plus you get lovely posh letters from the Houses of Parliament. It is well worth involving them as they go to a different department to sort it. Good luck xx
I hope everyone is well. Hugs to all who need them. I hope to be about again but every time I think that something happensHapy Fathers day to all the Fathers xxxx
Thanks TM. Not really thought of that, as just been following the advice from the thread on here. Bit tricky with both of us working full time. Need to talk to them tomorrow.
Avatar is always on my list of 'things to do', but requires help from 'Tech Support' who is currently having a father's Day Lie-in!!! Will bump it up the list when he gets up!0 -
That's not on with those rotas
Good that you had a nice hol and sending positive vibes to you:):)
We agree  The computer system that does the rota is allowed to give us an extra 12.5 hour shift if staffing levels require it and we are then 'owed' hours (that it seems to take forever to get back). No wonder sickness levels are so high ♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -
