5'4 if I stretch! My weight has gone down a bit more - largely due to a very unpleasant 48 hour bug that I picked up last week. Nothing like having your head down the toilet every half hour all through the night from 11,30 pm till the next morning for losing weight. I spent the next day in bed, very wobbly. Unfortunately I staggered to the bathroom for a widdle, flaked out while sitting on the loo and fell off. I managed to pull myself up but then passed out again and fell back - knocking one of the shower doors clean off its runners ! One of the runners sheered off and getting replacements is a problem.

Bet you are sorry you asked now - getting my tale of wo !

The diet certainly seems to have worked well for us both - are you having any trouble keeping the weight down ? Apart from my recent upset, I find that I still need a fast day every 3/4 days to keep my weight from going back up especially if I don't cut right back on carbs on my normal days.

 that's not good :( hope you've recovered ok now.

I haven't been doing the 5:2 it didn't really suit me, I've just cut out the rubbish and been doing more exercise and it seems to have done the trick :) I didn't really have a target as such, it was just when I seen yours I wondered what the 'ideal' weight would be. I am a bit taller than you though so probably wouldn't be the same.

    Morning all

My DD is a nightmare been up since 5 am  she's bounding about here full of beans as well while OH and I struggle to keep our eyes open!

Must get ready for work  for now

I will mention it tomorrow, only just thought about it myself. You would think with the four brains in the house, all medics, one of of them would have. :rotfl:

Can't be nice for her. :(

Yes slug pellets in the doorway of the cellar.

They also have to make sure all floor surfaces are very clean so no food crumbs on the floor.

Best thing is to get up in the middle of the night when they are wondering around.

We have the odd ones in the study which has a damp corner. I vaccum every corner, hands and knees - odd times in the kitchen as well so I make sure the floor has no crumbs on it.

Odd times we find ones on the living room floor that have come in on the fur of the cats. The other week we found one on the bathroom wall about 6 foot up - they are not afraid of heights :)

I am having one of those surreal nights. I don't like football, so I'm sat here doing my own thang :D

In the other room watching footy there's my (Italian) OH, a scottish man, 2 kids who consider themselves English, one of their friends (who is American) and a Ghurka  :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Not 'seen' you guys for ages! Hope you're all doing ok and have had lots of glitches.

Dodgy rotas at work had me working 50 hours for a couple of weeks  Then had t squeeze in new parents evening, housework and occasionally seeing my children :p
Just back yesterday though from a lovely holiday to Yorkshire with OH, both of our Mums and the boys. We were so lucky with the weather and all had a great time.

I've got a few days off now before I start nights later this week so might be able to catch up with you a bit more.

For anyone who remembers, I had a barium swallow a few weeks ago. It didn't show any obvious stricture or pressure on my oesophagus :j Bloods still skewy but putting it all to the back of my mind.

That's not on with those rotas

Good that you had a nice hol and sending positive vibes to you :):):)
