  • A bit of a gap in updating but haven't forgotten my MSE ways! Spends on food this month are £145 but that include a bulk meat order which should mean I don't need to buy any meat for a good couple of months. I'm going to aim for £200 for this month and then try to stick to less next month. My cooking mojo seems to be returning a little at the moment which makes keeping food spending easier.
I've still not managed to get items on flea bay but I am in the process of selling/giving baby things to by brother which means they will no longer clutter up my house. I'm also taking the huge pile of clothes away tomorrow so any money will be op'd.
I did some clearing in the garden today and started planning what I'm planting next year, all very exciting stuff. It makes spring feel very close!

Right off to finish my bread and fit another couple of cleaning jobs.

  • Afternoon all. It's a beautiful day here, I've even got washing on the line!!! Not sure what state it will be in when I fetch it in but it's the thought that counts. We've been deciding what to do long term about the house we are in and I think we've now decided to move in the future. With this in mind we've started the process of re-mort with our current supplier as they were offering an excellent deal. We've decided to up the monthly overpayments making sure we are really taking advantage of the low rate we will be on. I'm not sure what this will do to the MFdate if we were to stay here but as I think we'll move and we just want to give ourselves the advantage of being able to take a further loan out if necessary without it extending our MF date. The main aim to to op as much as possible.

I eventually took all of the clothes and recieved £10 ish for them so that's been op'd. DH booked some tickets and managed to get booking fee free so that's gone on too as well as some cash back. I'll add in the totals for 2015 OP later once I've checked if DH has done any other cheeky extra ones!

Chugging along, nothing too big to report.

    How is your week going?
