Nearly forgot have reduced EON DD from 92 down to 70 per month, I'm so pleased about this as having been watching usage. So another 22 pounds to fling towards debt though I'm thinking about stashing £15 in another secret emergency fund and the extra 7 towards debt. Any Thoughts ? Have 700 in emergency fund already.

excellent news........only you can decide how much you want/need in an emergency fund.

Every payment off debt is not just the amount you pay but the amount you save on any interest charged.
That said, you want to have an adequate emergency fund so that you don't get tempted to spend on cards etc if an emergency crops up so keep the amount you feel comfortable with in an emergency fund (there's no right or wrong answer for this one)

Wow ... your doing fab !

Gonna sound really silly here but when your PADing do you pay each small payment of your card or do you let it mount up and pay it of then ... like I said probe sounds silly but I'm new to the DFW board but am loving it !

Like you I am determined to pay it of ... I'm a single mum and I'm hoping to be debt and mortgage free in the next 7 years (small steps though)

Firstly PAD of 3.23 so total now on Bcard 4310

Another £10 to reach goal of 4300 which will be doable

Dobbibill - I've decided to use the extra 22 a month towards xmas so on the first of Dec will have 110 pounds for xmas food. Sounds like a plan.

MumofTwins - yes payment a day or in my case whenever I can
Drip drip approach works for me and these are extra payments on top of my normal debt repayment. I hope to have paid an extra 58-60 pounds this month, mostly down to ebay, refunds and topcashback. And to be honest would have frittered these extra pennies so all good.

Thank you both for reading my diary not that it is at all interesting x

Keep losing posts so doing this in two parts

Work busy as ever, interview on Tues for promotion So keep your fingers crossed for me. Late off work Thurs and Fri so tired this weekend. Though had a DD day yesterday so all well, And xmas and birthday pressies brought for her all in sale - lovely dressing gown, little mermaid lego and something else that I can;t remember

Today has been productive - 2 loads of washing, all the ironing done, hoovered and mopped everywhere, bins emptied, loos bleached meals sorted for work tomorrow and having a picnic in the garden when DH home from work with a cold glass of vino and early to bed.

Missing in action since June not good especially as 1700 added to debt. One word CARS!!!!!. Have or had a car fund but not the pennies to buy a new one and wiped emergency fund. Yes it's a need not a want as both me and DH work full time. I work stupid hours for the NHS and DD in school full time now.

    The Good

    * all debt interest free and payments are being met.
    * 16 weeks pregnant with number 2
    * I forgot I started a saving plan in uni something like 10 pounds a month paying out in Oct - over 5000. Won't completely clear debt but will be debt free before mat leave starts

    The Bad

    * Still not paid promotion from work, moaned officially and been told will be paid properly by end of Sept. Fingers crossed.
    * off work sick since Mon due to back worked Sat fine woke up Sun and in agony. Gp cheerfully said joys of working for NHS, lost weight since booking in appt with midwife that will be the morning sickness then !!!. hot water bottle deep heat and paracetamol but its not working.

And still waiting for Ebay buyers to pay and must start PADing again
Banks are squeaky so will wait for pay day only 13 days away, unless Ebay pennies come in. Oh talking about Ebay got Lego movie Lego and Disney little mermaid dress up for half the price in the shops and new !! More things ready for xmas for DD who told me only 100 sleeps left

I hope this all finds you well and you debt free journeys have been smooth. It is a blip for me and we will plod on. I have made a promise to myself that this diary is me time and keeps me on the straight and narrow.

I need to run the freezers down as part of my first Xmas prep so interesting meal plan ahead I think x

Awaiting Topcashback payout 62.29 but won't be till 2015 but have tracked so I guess that is something.
