For purely research reasons! I have looked on the Love honey web site, they only have 2 in the U.K one in London "Morgans Hotel" and the other in Brighton "Hotel Pelirocco"
I know you would prefer a northern escape so I'll bite the bullet and keep on looking!Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0 -

I cannot see on either if these a way of seeing how secluded they are. The first looks lovely but there is mention of a camping or caravan site in the strawberry patch or something, which if its in the garden could rather dampen the feeling of secluded romance.
Its one of the things when we have looked for holiday cottages that seems hardest to confirm.0 -
In the impossibility of having an desert island...What about cottages isolated where we can be cut off from the world and be free to do whatever we like it..0

WE are use to this type of hotels, in Portugal, Spain and France they are reputable places, clean, tidy and respected.
You are confusing brothels and swing houses with an theme hotel for a romantic and sexy time.
You are in a different culture. Britain has primarily a conservative Anglo Saxon culture. Totally different to to the Romanic and Gallist cultures you are familiar with.0 -
I know that I am in a diferent cultura and you are more "closed" than we are. That is the reason why I was trying to explain that the places that I was looking for are not brothels and swing houses.
We have them as well and they are totally different places to go.
Like beaches... we have them from the North up to the famous Algarve, we prefer the ones outside Algarve, more quiet, beautiful but you prefer the ones in Algarve... and nothing wrong with it... As we say... different tastes! We just need to accepted them!0 -

I saw this on Hotel Inspector program a while back, looks like the sort of thing you might want. Would love to treat my husband but can't afford it.
