Was sadly out of action at the beginning of the week - after Monday's barbell workout I had a severe asthma attack - my first in 15/16 years! Very frightening
Having been piled with meds I tried a gentle workout with the cheerios last night and managed OK, so going to do a bit of rowing and some dumbbells tonight.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Much better thank youhad to have two days off work during which just going up the stairs left me breathless, but then the pills and extra inhaler kicked in and I feel nearly 100% again now!
Did get told off by the doc for not calling an ambulance when the attack happened as I "didn't want to bother anyone"

AAaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh.................that's much better!! Got back to the gym today and REALLY enjoyed it. Those endorphins are great!
HBS- glad you are feeling better.0 -
Had a lovely swim this afternoon too
We went to the pool and the kids went off and played on the flume, so I did some widths of the pool by myself. I didn't count, but I'd guess that I did 20 widths. Not loads, but better than doing none!

Well mixed emotions this morning. I weighed myself and haven't lost a single pound but have lost 1/2 inch of each thigh. Definitely have to start planning my food out again. Think I can thank the running/stairs/extra walking for the thighs. Unfortunately it's my bust and waist that I really want to be reduced. Oh well of do some gardening and maybe a longer than usual walk for the dogThat voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

Losing inches is much better than losing weight, FT
I need to stop snacking on crisps, its a real problem when I am hormonal. So I have decided to ban them next week.
I went to the gym this morning but had a rubbish workout. Only managed 30mins before I stopped. I felt really weak and woozy. I thought it better to stop because I thought I was going to pass out.
Even the instructor noticed I was leaving early!0 -
I've had some really bad chocolate cravings over the past few days which is weird as I really do not have a sweet tooth. Would rather have a pasty lol! I'm trying not to beat myself up over it as I know that I am changing my lifestyle to a healthier one but all the years of fad diets and self sabotage my first thought was to drastically cut my food intake which I know is an unhealthy thought as I am eating healthy and better now. It's just trying to change my unhealthy attitude to food in general and sometimes the old way of thinking rears it ugly head. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

I really have to share my excitement with you!
Yesterday, I noticed that my bicep muscles are starting to show! I know they are still small, and maybe that's not a big deal to some of you, but for someone who had never had muscle definition before, I am SO PLEASED!!
It has given me renewed motivation to kick my own a$$ at the gym. So I have fitness pilates this morning, and might do some cardio afterwards too.0 -

Thanks FT
Went to the gym today and had a great workout. Felt great.
Then came home and watched the tennis. Just about to have a snack (apple) and go and get some bits for dinner. The kids want carbonara, so I'll just have some chicken, salad, rice and veggies.0
