I've been Money Tipped! Debt-free and Proud!
    Morning All :)

I haven't been to the gym for 2 days, as the kids have been home from school with a tummy bug, and I haven't been feeling too good myself either.

Off to work in a minute, then hopefully off to the gym this evening :)

    Evening all

Hope you're having a good week!

It'll be...interesting...my mum has a tendancy to be competitive, as do I :o

My gym is currently closed due to renovation work, so haven't been able to go (not that I've felt like going anyway). Race for Life is only a couple of weeks away now so need to do more training! I can run for about 20 mins with a little break, but that's only half the course :(

Starting my new job on Monday! Exciting, but nervous too. I've got the rest of the week off to prepare myself. I used to wear a uniform so now I have to find clothes to wear to work

I've decided to give SW a go (not going to the group, but just following the diet at home) which I'll start next week. I'll be getting an hour for lunch, which means I can walk home, eat, then walk back to work :) I'm hoping this will stop me from buying loads of junk food/wasting money in the restaurant and shop we have in our building.

You dont need to run it all. I dont think Ive ever run a race for life from end to end. My best time is about 35 mins but Im absolutely not a runner.

Ive got a qualification in fitness pilates. Theres very little difference between that and pilates, they just cant call it pilates as the training is only 2 days long.

Im actually booked into someone elses fitness pilates class tomorrow as Im currently as stiff as a board and my flexibility is shockingly bad.

    Afternoon All :)

Still haven't made it to the gym, that's 3 days! I am still not feeling great, and both the kids are still not well either.

I miss the gym- I never thought I would say that!

I have been eating OK though, so at least that's 1 thing! Although, saying that, we are having Pizza tonight as I am shattered from work and its hard doing a physical job when you don't feel well.

I am going to have tomorrow off the gym too, and then hopefully i'll feel better by Saturday, so I can get back to my workouts.

I am also looking forward to the fitness pilates on Monday.

    How is everyone else doing?
  • A run for me tomorrow morning I have also started walking to Liverpool street for my overhead train rather than take the underground. It's about 1.5 miles also am going to be taking the stairs a lot more at work (am on the fourth floor).
I know it doesn't sound like much but am trying to incorporate my exercise into my daily routine as I am not able to make use of my local gym anymore

    I'm joining this thread please!

I've only read the first page but I only joined the gym at the end of May. I've not exercised for years but I'm really enjoying it.

I'll read the rest of the thread and post properly later.
  • Completed my run this morning, actually starting to enjoy it now. it also makes me feel :A for the rest of the day. Have bought a dress to attend a wedding in late July but the next size down and am using this as my drive to keep going. This usually happens on a Friday morning when my alarm goes off at 5.50am :exclamati

    Hello lovelies!

Was sadly out of action at the beginning of the week - after Monday's barbell workout I had a severe asthma attack - my first in 15/16 years! Very frightening :(

Having been piled with meds I tried a gentle workout with the cheerios last night and managed OK, so going to do a bit of rowing and some dumbbells tonight.

    Have a lovely weekend everyone!
