Yesterday, she asked DH for help with her homework and when he (gently) pointed out that she'd made mistakes in the four questions she'd already done, she told DH that he was a knob and she was going to get a machete and hack him to bits. He tried to laugh it off and said he didn't think anyone would sell a machete to a child and she just looked him straight in the eye and said, "I'll find a way, you'll get what's coming to you"
Honestly, I wouldn't have believed it had I not witnessed it myself. Oh, it's all fun and japes chez Whizz! :rotfl:
Err maybe it's because I grew up in a dysfunctional household with a fair amount of violence but I think I'd do more that laugh that off. Maybe something along the lines of pack her a bag.:mad::eek:
By all means, send the little murderess my way, I'll set her straight on what does and does not validate those murderous feelings she has.
I'm livid!! I can't stand when people think they have it so badly off; I took the tatters of my !!!!!! childhood and used them to help other people, and she threatens your husband because she can't get her homework right?!
Ooooooooh!0 -
Gosh, poor you Fizz - what a nightmare! That is really extreme behaviour/language for her to be using.
Thinking of you kadison hope that things get sorted.
Thanks for new thread babafette
ETA - So sorry Nillionaire, I forgot to mention that I was thinking how awful that must have been for you and your housemates. I hope that you are getting some support with this.0 -

I also recently tried (and loved) the Champneys Citrus Blush body lotion - much more moisturising than normal lotions, I found. Think you said you have the same set?
Both of these are pretty reasonably priced. I'm not a fan of TBS butters/lotions/body purees!
Is TBS the body shop? I've seen that abbreviated a few times and i've only just worked it out haha
I agree with that...i've got a coconut shimmer one from body shop which although it smells nice on first whiff once you've got it on all over you just can't smell anything else all day! So annoying and quite tacky, never seems to soak in. I'm going to have to brave it though if I want to use my whole stash up:eek:
I'm using the Sanctuary citrus blush at the moment, it's nice and soaks in well. I also had a small pot of the distant shores in the champneys range which I really liked so might have to re-purchase as well. Espesh if they're on 3 for 2 which I think they are at the mo.
Thanks for your thoughts Sundaysgirl0 -
Well I've had a real sh1te of a day, lovely boyfriend might not be so lovely if events since last night are anything to go by, suffice to say there was somewhat of a 'scare' (not a real one, just a bit of one) and I'm being given the cold shoulder, or so it seems, there's no WAY he hasn't looked at his phone since last night, no way at all.
If he turns out to be just another spineless wotsit I'll be so upset:(:(
:(:(Kadison I really hope that it doesn't turn out the way you're thinking right now. I've been in a similar situation in the past and it isn't nice at all, even if the scare didn't turn into anything it's not nice to feel on your own. *hugs to you*
DS is in bed now so i'm going to take myself for a little walk to Sainsbobs local and get some chocolate and a bit of vino...Kadisonfancy joining me in a virtual wine/choc fest? lol
Anyone can join...since we're all going through something one way or another!
Trying to get DS to try some new foods at the moment as he is VERY picky, it's not going down too well so tonight's been interesting. *bangs head against wall*0 -
Welcome Newbies.
Nilloinaire, I really don't know what to say to what you have been to.:grouphug:
Rogueylawyer, I do hope your Mom gets better.:grouphug:
Sundaygirl. The tortoise has failed to get through my defences so far. He was quite happy at the weekend as a raspberry cane has bent over (with the weight of the fruit) he had a lovely time eating them and the leaves. He was not very impressed when I tied the plant back up.
Final UU's
2 so white bath ballistics
BS green apple shower gel WBA such a shame that it was discontinued.
I have lost count this month and I have used more than what I have declared. I have also binned a few items as they were years old and had seperated.
I ordered a parcel from America 6 weeks ago (bath and body products). I finally emailed the company as I thought it had gone missing to find that it was never sent, they had put it on hold. They were knid enough to reinburse my postage and they have finally sent it. I just hoping it arrives before I go away.0 -
!!!!!!?!! She needs disciplining fast!!!

Oh love. Let him have a little space - he will either come back better and sorted or you'll know it's a personality thing you'll need to think about. I don't think it's necessary a bad thing if he's thinking about things, nor does it mean he's spineless, so long as he's thinking not ignoring.
Wow, that was some beautiful prose I just wrote0 -
48. Sunsilk Brilliant Brunette conditioner. Like it but it isn't on the shelves anymore.
49. Body Shop Satsuma shower gel. My favourite. Have some minis in the stash and my youngest son always buy's me Body Shop stuff for my birthday.
It's a funny day here. Tomorrow is Canada Day (think Bank Holiday) so a lot of people have taken today off to make for a very long weekend.
I'm seriously thinking of giving up hospital nursing after last night. My shoulder hurts and I just don't want to deal with the bullpucky that goes on anymore.
Machete Girl? Get her a chat with a child psychologist. Who knows how she's treating her classmates.0 -

I want to join in. I'm fed up I have worked at my current place for 5 yrs. We get a certain amount of leave between Xmas and new year because the office is closed then but I have never taken any extra annual leave. This year I wanted to book some extra days over new year. I was off work last week and came in to find they had announced while I was off that you could now book Xmas leave and someone else has booked the leave I wanted already.
I've decided you get nowhere by being nice and helpful people just walk all over you0 -
Evening all,
Just caught up on the the last few pages of the thread and I'll just send everyone hugs, :grouphug: (I knew there was a perfect use for the dodgy group hug smiley!) We have been collectively having a very bad few days! Its a shiny new month tomorrow, so lets hope that shiny new things are happening for all of us
I have one last UU, an Avon perfumed body spray, WNBA I don't find the aerosol sprays as MSE as the non-aerosol ones because they're gone in no time.
I finished the month with about 5 UU and 2 Ins, my UU rate is ridiculously slow, its no wonder I had a toiletries stash! No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018
35 UU / 13 unnecessary ins0
