Off topic question - those of you who use a slow cooker, I've got a chicken casserole in on low, the chunks are about 1/4 of a fillet each, 4 hours should be okay shouldn't it?

Boyfie gets here about 9:30pm ish and I want it ready for as close to then as possible as I'll be starving and so will he!

I'm veggie but I would have thought it would be at least 6 hrs on low or about 3 to 4 on high from meat slow cooker recipes I have seen

kadison, personally I would bump it onto high for an hour or two, then turn it down to tenderise for a while before you intend to serve. But then I fret a lot about poultry

Hi, can I join the naughty step too please? Looks lots of fun! Could do with some tea and sympathy right now!

I just picked DS up from a little party at one of his friends houses from school. When I said we were leaving he said he wanted another fruit shoot which I said no to as he'd already had one and he wasn't allowed another. At which point he breaks out crying quite loudly and being silly so I ignored him and chatted to one of the Mums expecting him to stop and get over it. Then when i asked him to say thank you to Freddie and his mum for the party and having him over he refused, cried some more and got himself in a lather burying his head in my coat still refusing to say thank you.
He was doing this for so long we had to leave in the end as it was getting very embarrassing. I'm angry and disappointed with him...I know it seems only simple but I don't want people to think I don't teach him manners and he was being very rude.
He went on the naughty step when he got home and I explained it to him after his 5 minutes were up and he said he was sorry and wouldn't do it again so it's been resolved between the two of us but I still feel like a big glass of something cold and it's not going to be juice!
He's not normally like this at all, I don't know what the matter was. I suppose they all show you up sometimes don't they!

Laidbare hair minimising moisturiser - WBA if I found it on offer, did actually increase the amount of time my legs were smooth which was a bonus but you do have to use it religiously for this to happen.

Just had a quick look up, consensus seems to be 3/4 hours on high 6 or so on low. HTH
