Help!
I can work out that WNBA is 'will not buy again' but what is UU? Or TA? IN?
Hello Beenie!
UU means used up
TA is thrown away
In just means something that is new (bought, gifted, freebie - it doesn't matter).
There's a handy guide to the challenge and all of the abbreviations on the first page of the thread. Just hop to page one of June and have a read
Welcome, by the way, and welcome to tammyb as well0 -
Welcome to any new people - this is a very friendly and supportive thread
Rosemary that book sounds hilarious! I might head over to the no buying books challenge too. I don't have a big problem with buying books but I do seem to have lots of books sitting around that I haven't read!
No more UU or INS - was browsing B&M earlier and noticed that they stocked some make up which really looked like MUA, same packaging and similar looking products e.g. palettes/lipsticks but with a different name0 -
Just been browsing the online beauty sales. Loads of things that I was interested in are out of stock (thankfully). I now have one of the new urban decay flushed palettes in streak in my basket with £5 off. Think I have talked myself out of it though!0

Kadison, thank you for the reply. I think when I come back from holiday I will join an online dating site. I have only done online dating once and that was about 5 years ago. Please keep us posted it lovely to read.0 -

I have a tortoise which has been in our family for nearly 50 years. I have had him for the last 5 as my nan could not look after him. His name is Willie and he is 51 years old. I wish the myth that tortoises were slow was a myth. His favourite hobby is getting onto the vegetable patch he will climb, go round things at a 90 degree angle literally on his side. He has climbed 9 inch steps, no idea how and you never see him actually do it but leave him and 5 minutes later he's up.
I came home today and the bricks down the side of his house have moved and he had pushed his house across to get into the vegetable patch. I have spent my evening replanting the lettuce seeds and frtifying the garden. I have made new fences and staked them in ever 12 inches. His house has stakes next to it to stop the b*gger moving it and 10 bricks are now down the side of his house with stakes behind them to stop him moving them. I would like to say thats got to stop him but I really do doubt it.0 -

Oh if you insistBest of luck hun, just keep going and keep meeting people, just enjoy the social aspect and don't heap pressure on yourself xxx
He's coming over for the weekend (Friday night to Sunday morning as he has a party to go to on Sunday night), our second two-night stay, he goes away on a business trip to the US the following weekend and he's gone 9 days, I will be going mad that something's going to happen to him so I've booked a laser hair removal appt for the day he flies out (independence day) in the hope the nerves about the pain will distract me (I'm having my legs done for the first time) and will have something arranged for the day he flies back
Plus I'll really bloody miss him, no contact except email/facebook for basically two weeks when you take into account I won't see him for two weekends:(:(
However.....there is a trip to London planned the day after he returns, I booked it before I met him as I've got tickets for the Monty Python show on the 15th, so I booked a hotel for the 14th and the 15th and have invited him along for a dirty 'weekend' :A :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I had a tortoise when I was a child but it didn't survive the winter hibernatingLife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
