I have a little flurry of uu from my shower this morning

L'occitane Repairing conditioner - this smelt nice but was so thick I cracked the bottle trying to squeeze it out so I had to take it out of my travel bag and use at home. It didn't do anything special so wnba.

Clinique 7 day scrub cream 75ml, It's OK, nice and gentle for everyday use although I only used it twice a week.

Ren T Zone Day Cream 5ml. Nice enough but probably wouldn't go out of my way to replace it.

Kadison, I love that you have met someone and your updates. I am 35 and still single and would love to meet the special someone.

TBH I didn't think it would happen, but I joined almost every online thing going and kept going to Match.com nights and just meeting people, in fact I stopped really worrying about meeting anyone special and just started to enjoy socialising and meeting new people, something I've never really done before. I started to quite like dressing up and going out, plus the more men I met the more relaxed I got about asking for numbers and the less bothered I was if they said no, I didn't know them so what did it matter?

I am a (very) big girl so I started off thinking that's all people could see, which isn't true, once I got over that I started feeling confident rather than faking it.

TBH I am a bit miffed with him right now, but it's not a deal-breaker thing, just something I'm a bit fed up with!

mcculloch29 I'm so sorry to hear about the burglary, I'm glad they didn't take anything irreplacable, perhaps (and I hope this doesn't sound harsh), it was a 'warning call' for you, you will be careful about locking the door now and that will stop more ruthless or organised people breaking in.

Either way you probably feel quite shaken up despite how calm you seem on here and I hope you are able to feel safe again very soon xxx

  • Hi everyone,

Sorry to hear about your burglary McCulloch:( My BFF and partner were burgled just after xmas. Makes you feel very violated...not nice at all.

    Some UU's

L'Occitane Almond milk concentrate - I'd like to buy this again purely for the smell as it's LOVELY...however it went down so quickly I couldn't believe it! I wasn't using it excessively, was supplementing with other body lotions but it still went down super quick. and i don't think it did any more than any other body lotion i've ever had so sadly i think this one won't be getting repurchased. I'd heard such good things about it too! Beautiful smell though:D

Herbal Essences Seductively Straight Conditioner - WBA once my stash has gone down. Has been a bit of a relic but i've recently started using it again and it really does help to straighten my hair out so quite impressed!

I have a couple of splutterers which i'm hoping will get used up by the end of the week...they're the kind that seem to go on forever *yawn*.

Off to Ikea tonight for abit of furniture shopping, meatballs and dime bar cake yumyum:T
  • Haven't been around for a bit, so sorry if I've missed anything. Sorry to hear about the burglary McCulloch29, but I'm glad that you are safe and physically unhurt :(

Just popping in to report a few UUS

Clarins One-step facial cleanser - 10ml - this was a relic, nice enough but WNBA, prefer wash off cleanserss

Nivea Pearl & Beauty anti-perspirant deo 150ml - WBA HG

Calvin Kien Beauty perfume sample - WNBA, nothing special

Evening ladies. Sorry to hear you're having such a rotten time McCulloch :(

I have three UUs to report:

Molton Brown amber cocoon hand wash mini 30ml - this was fine but not something I'd buy myself
Vichy idealia life serum - this was a 3ml sample from feel unique with my recent EH balm purchase. Loved it, have already checked its price to repurchase. I'm going to have to buy a new moisturiser in the next month so will possibly get this and a tube of Avene if they are still on a discount in Mr B.
Specsavers contact lens solution 250ml - this has been open for too long (I haven't worn any contacts in months, if at all this year) and I have tonnes of unopened bottles.

I'm trying to pick up the pampering again a bit, but am up to my eyes in a jewellery order and day jobbing at the moment. Had a tiny moment of profile raising last week, it reminded me that people can see my picture on the work website and I have to live up the that picture (I am wearing a lot of good makeup in that picture!)!

Finally!! Does that mean I shouldn't hold out much hope for the one I've been accepted on to being delivered anytime soon then ... :)
