  • Hi everyone, hope you're all ok. It's been quiet on here today so I hope that means everyone is having a fab weekend and enjoying the weather! Had a nice shopping day today with my lovely mum then we went to Loch Fyne for some dinner...great day!

    I have some UU's:T

YSL Eye makeup remover - this worked really well but i am trying to find a cheaper alternative to this and my favourite Lancome bi-facil. This just works so brilliantly i think i'll be hard pushed to find a better one. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know!

Champneys Distant Shores body butter - the smell of this is sooooo nice, really fruity and summery. Would buy again but not until my stash is gone.

Charles Worthington volume blow-dry spray - used up one, have got another one going as well. It's ok, does the job-ish but I don't really need much more volume so not really sure why I bought it!

GA: La Therapie Redness Treatment - gave to mum as i've got the synchrorose treatment cream now and I wasn't sure it was doing much?! Mum has said she'll give it a go.

GA: Clinique foaming cleanser - gave to my friend at work. Not keen on this as it made my skin feel tight, will stick to my creamy cleanser.

    xx

Body Shop Green Apple Shower Gel 200ml, DH used this although I have used one of the 4 bottles I bought, it smells good and does the job. I have one bottle left in the stash but WBA although I'm not sure if I can now.

I love the green apple shower gel and i have a tiny bit left. Its a shame that it was discontinued.

    Hope everyone is well.

Sorry to hear about your daughter antics Fizzywizz. Hopefully she has learn't a lesson.

Lush celebrate lotion WNBA nice texture, absorbs quickly but not my kind of scent.

BS ginger shampoo given to neighbour to try.

    Frizzease serum WBA

Philosophy full of promises face cream WNBA a little too heavy for me.

    Indeed labs hydraluron WBA HG

    six pence soap WNBA

    So white bath ballisitc WBA

Twilight shower gel WBA HG absolute favourite shower gel but still have 3 bottles in stash.

SBC cucumber gel WNBA nice enough, great for cooling down the skin.

    INS

    4 Ginger shampoo
2 50ml moisturising something or other conditioners
    2 packs of cotton wool.

I am still waiting for an order from America, it been 5 weeks and I am getting a bit worried that it has gone missing. But I have slowed down the shopping.

I go away in a month for 4 weeks, I am so looking forwards to getting away. I have already sorted out by toiletries.

Just a thought. It might be just me but less people thank people for their posts. I think it is lovely to recognise people for their contributions and successes and for all those who love the naughty step.;)

Still no use ups to report although some long haul jobs are nearing the end.

I have been to a party this evening so I've painted my nails. I have OPI Care to Danse on my fingers and OPI Royal Rajah Ruby on my toes. :)

Another wonderful morning here, so must get out into the garden while it is cool. I wear cotton gloves inside ones with a rubberised palm and still my nails get beaten up, I think it must be the pressure, toes are still in need of painting, must find time later.

No more UU's or IN's but have a couple of small splutterers.

Have a great Sunday everyone, for those who are working I hope that it is a hassle free day:)

I have a bottle kicking around here that was bought at Ikea, maybe they still stock it and it might be a worthy replacement for the BodyShop one?

You'd be proud of me today girlies...I talked myself out of buying some L'Occitane Almond shower oil in the sale today. Was a good price, 750ml for £29 when normally it's £17 for 250ml but even so the last thing I need is more shower stuff!
They'll probably have another sale on by the time I need shower gel:)

I'm currently using the L'Occitane Almond milk concentrate body lotion. It's really very lovely, gorgeous smell, but the only thing is it's not lasting very long which is disappointing and for the price I would have expected a little more.

    Hope everyone is OK :-)

    Morning ladies.

    I have uu

Lancome Dreamtone 1 40ml, I hope this is empty, it just stops pumping suddenly and there is no way to open it up. I have another full size in the stash and after that probably WNBA. If it does it's job I really shouldn't need to buy again.

Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel - this was a big GWP size, I use it in the morning and it is very convenient as you massage it on to dry skin and rinse away. Have another in the stash.

    S&G Hand Food 100ml, WBA.

Hello all, been MIA a bit as very little to report, but also we were burgled last Monday morning - my smartphone, laptop and handbag went, grabbed from the lounge. I was in the house upstairs, still asleep, DS had gone out early to work. Unfortunately insurance won't pay up as the door wasn't locked. I'm partially deaf so heard nothing, just as well, really in one way.

DS is organising a new phone for me. We used Find a Phone, got a trace and passed on the info to the Police. The phone had been renamed with a fairly unusual male name.

The laptop was secured with logins. All really important work data is secure online and much of the rest was on Webmails or the netbook I was using until last July when I bought the laptop.

The laptop was really annoying as it continually disconnected from the net (a known issue with that type, Acer V5, and nothing you can do to correct it).

New bank cards have been sent out, still have my Nectar and Boots points intact.

The handbag was the only designer one I've ever owned - a Kipling, typical, only one I've ever lost too - so I've gone back to my usual style of an unbranded leather one bought off Am*zon. Purse replaced same way, using survey vouchers.

I lost some lipsticks, but that was all in the makeup / perfume / cosmetics line. I am OK in myself, I know I would have felt a lot worse if truly precious things had gone, if the place had been trashed or if my bedroom had been invaded.

On that same day some older friends of mine that I know through our local live music club lost their adult son. He is the second son of theirs to die in recent years. That put it all in perspective.

I just lost things that can be replaced.
