Forgot to report an IN for yesterday.
Synchrorose redness treatment - purchased from Sk:n where I have my laser hair removal treatments. It's a treatment rather than a moisturiser which is supposed to work well but I'll see if it makes any difference!0 -
seasidedreamer - personally I would pay off the debt, especially if there are interest costs on it.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hello ladies, I've been popping in now and then and have managed to catch up with the thread again now. Sorry to hear a couple of people have been having a rough time and I'm pleased to hear about enjoyable holidays and budding romances!
You're all such a lovely bunch.
I hope you're feeling better now tiffanyjayne, FizzWhizz, Rosemary, rogueylawyer and Clutterfree. Sorry if I've missed anybody else out.
I'm afraid I've been bad again. No excuses really other than I always seem to buy when I'm feeling down. I am trying to plan a small wedding for September, but alas, when family get involved things always seem to go awry......I can't bring myself to even book anything now.
Last week I used my Boots points to buy a necessary Batiste Cherry dry shampoo on promotion and spotted a L'Oreal Elvive Nutri Gloss Crystal Sparkling Shampoo reduced to clear. Then on Saturday we went to Guildford for the day and I was really chuffed as I found a 100% pure silk scarf from Hobbs for £8.00 and a 100ml Molton Brown Ylang-Ylang Body Lotion for £1.00 in a charity shop plus I got two free Aveda haircare samples from House of Fraser. I'm afraid I also succumbed to the £5.00 special offer on the Crabtree & Evelyn Gardener's Hand Therapy as I like the smell of this and I do spend a lot of time gardening. I do not have many use ups though, probably because I keep switching between full size items which are relatively new.I am booked in for coloured highlights in my hair again on Tuesday, had pink last time and loved it, not sure whether to try purple this time, it will probably be a decision made when I get there:DseasideDreamer wrote: »Should I keep saving and use it as sale funds at Christmas, baring in mind I won't need loads by the looks of what I still have left from last years...OR...pay some more off the debts???
Enjoy the sunshine ladies.Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -
2 UUs to report:
Body Shop Vanilla body wash (travel size)
nice and I'm glad I have another larger bottle as our local BS just closed
Himalaya Herbals Protein Shampoo - would buy again if it was available here but if anyone goes to Nepal DO buy this local brand instead of expensive counterfit products from China (like pantene etc.)

Ooh I have Woodwinked in my stash - never used though
will have to dig it out. Thanks
It's an odd shadow, it looks to be a different shade on different people, but that could just be my dodgy eyesightlovely texture though, I hope you enjoy it when you get around to using it
I have a brace of NBIs…
IN #47 & 48: Macadamia Oil Extract Shampoo and Condish 300ml; gifted to me by a lovely customer, I think they came from £land. Not too bothered by the shampoo but the condish has macadamia, castor, olive, coconut and avocado oils, glycerin which is a great humectant and it's silicone-free so it's ticking my boxes. It also seems to smell like fruit salad chews
And a couple of UU to balance these out…
UU #107: Sainsbobs Oval Cotton Wool Pads x50; WNBA, these split like the round ones and were a right royal PITA. I'm out of cotton pads now, but I'm not using liquid eye makeup remover or micellar water anymore so the cotton wool pleat I have had for a bazillion years will suffice for any needs which arise.
UU #108: Oral B 3D Whitening Toothpaste 75ml; WMBA, depending on price. The thing I liked best was the colour as it was white and purple stripes and matched my toothbrushDidn't irritate my tongue either which is a thumbs up.

FizzWhizz - Glad your eyebrows turned out OK, I think I would be a bit scared to dye mine.
I was a bit nervous too, I'll be honest, maybe I would have been less shaky shaky if I'd had I done by a pro before, but as it goes it was easy peasy. I applied Vaseline with a concealer brush around my brows as a barrier, mixed 5 drops of the developer with 2cm of the colour cream, mixedmixedmixed and applied it with the enclosed spoolie, wiping any excess from my skin with a damp cotton bud. Left it on for 4 mins (it says between 2 and 5 but I know how resistant my hair is to colour so I went for the upper end of the scale) then wiped it off with damp cotton wool. The tails of my brows are rather thin and very blonde so I did them again for another 2 mins and you can actually see them now :T
I shower and reapply my slap late afternoon before DH gets home and I'm still filling my brows in a bit then, but for my early morning "work face" they're now dark enough not to bother0 -

Pay the debt, you'll feel so much better for it.
Finally I have used up my Aveeno 'Positively Radiant' Moisturiser 75ml - its been on the PP List for months and months and months. Even with fairly regular daily use it has gone on and on and on, it's been upside down for weeks and I have long since stopped trying to get any out by way of the pump. I cut it open at the weekend and nearly mullered my hands in the process and the last remains all dried up.
So what, I won't be in a rush to replace it! I really grew to hate it and was glad to finally have reason to throw it away - even though it's a perfectly good cream it smells too strongly of SPF and I was always left wanting something a bit more luxurious.Mortgage

That's the one! Once the dregs of the shower gel are gone I'll have used everything apart from the bathing milk, and I've been really impressed with it all in general. Gorgeous scents. You've just reminded me about the vanity case and I have no idea where it is!MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -

We've just had a new bathroom put in so i'm going to try the bathing milk as a nice treat in the new bath
I bought a few bits in the 75% boots sale this year so still using a few bits and bobs from that i.e. S&G set, Sanctuary, Champneys. I ended up going to my smallish local Boots first to see what they'd got and they'd got loads of stuff to choose from so went abit mad hehe was very pleased to get the vanity case set for £15 from £50!
Ventured into Nottingham centre Boots later on that afternoon just to see what it was like and it was carnage! People going absolutely mental...it was all very civilised in the local Boots.
Got a few teachers pressie's for end of the year so now i'm feeling all smug and prepared in the run up to the end of summer term:T
Anyhoo...I have an unexpected UU
Laidbare Smooth as a Peach body lotion - apparently a cellulite cream but as usual with these creams you never notice much of a difference! WNBA as I wasn't keen on the Ylang Ylang smell but it did make my skin soft so not a total disappointment.
I'm avoiding the England match by watching One Born on C4 catch-up and having a bit of a pamper sesh.
Hope all are ok x0
