  • Hi all

I've been lurking but not had much of a chance to post lately. Work's v busy, both the day job and the jewellery. I'm not doing so well with the pressure, have muscle aches and feel exhausted. Pampering and looking after myself has well and truly fallen by the wayside.

Have one UU and one IN

IN: Alberto Balsam apple shampoo 400ml. The tresemme shampoo is running out but lots of condition left, so picked this up for £1, paid on AC points, to supplement until conditioner runs out as well.

OUT: Sure antiperspirant crystal clear aqua 250ml. I use the maximum protection cream during the week so this was a slow UU. I still have 5 of these to UU but they're not quite enough for me at work. Fine to use but nothing special.

Sorry I haven't had a chance to catch up on the thread yet, hope you're all well.

Glad to hear everything is going well Kadison!

Another UU last night, Lush 'Snow Fairy' soap, WBA but usually get these as part of gift sets from DH. 'Have Your Cake and Eat It' is almost gone as well, couple of days max left.

    Have a great day everyone

    Hello all!

UU's 3 BS gym bag mini's which I discovered in my stash, typically the labels had come off/worn off so I don't know exactly what they are!

GA a huge tub of Gok Wan body shimmer moisteriser. Came as part of a C'mas gift set. Smelt amazing, just I knew I was unlikely to use it, as it was a bit bling for me! Perfect for DD1 though who is part of a bollywood dance troupe, so she will use for shows. Gives a really nice golden sheen to the skin.

As an aside, on the way home from work I got a panicked call from DD3 complaining there was 'no conditioner in the bathroom'. With 3 DD's living at home, all with long hair we can go through a lot of shampoo/conditioner, despite my admonitions they use far too much. I've finally told them I will buy supermarket stuff to put in the bathroom, but anything branded they want they will have to buy themselves, hopefully get them more familiar with saving before uni. I bought Aldi Carino coconut shampoo and conditioner (the one that looks like alberto balsam bottles) I tried it once myself and I must say I am really, really impressed, not at all what you would expect from a budget brand. https://www.aldi.co.uk/en/product-range/health-beauty/carino-hair-care/carino-hair-care-product-detail-page/ps/p/shampooconditionerr/
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!

Glad you still have your tooth rosemary.

    I have two uu

    Sanctuary Rose Thermal Clay Mask
    Sanctuary Power Peptide Transformation Serum

These came together as a set which you are supposed to use every other day for 30 days, I more or less did that and just used up the last two uses this week. You apply the serum then the mask on top, it heats up and then you leave for 15 minutes. It makes my skin feel soft and when I was using it for the 30 days it did look good.

  • Forgive me MSE's for I have sinned!

My shampoo and conditioner have finally arrived so that's two IN's. I have a chemical exfoliant arriving today so that will be another IN (mights as well add it now as it will be here before the end of the day, so that's number 3. And I've just ordered a La Roche Posay moisturiser and hand cream and a serum and sunscreen from Bioderma.

The moisturiser and hand cream are definitely needed, (I have a glowing facial balm that I was sent to test ages ago that I have been using as a moisturiser but it's not moisturising enough and it has glitter so I'm going to use it on my legs instead) and the serum has good reviews and my skin has been feeling really tight lately. And the sunscreen I've wanted to try for ages because of the high PPD level. All of those were 1/3 off so I'm pretty pleased. If I only I could get some more UUs going on, they seem to be very slow at the moment!
    No more goo hoarding!

Thanks to you all (again) for "listening" to me moan about DD!

I've just dyed my eyebrows, I gave myself a proper Dennis Healy :rotfl: They look ok now I've washed it off, more like they're supposed to be on my face rather than looking like I've stolen some poor blonde girl's eyebrows :p

The window cleaner saw me :rotfl: so I've slapped as S&G detox mask on, the one which goes blue when you rub it in. From Dennis into a smurf; In for a penny…!

Fizz love your eye make up in that picture - what do you use?

On the positive side with your DD, she locked her dad's booze away and protected the sofas - could be classed as very mildly considerate (clutching at straws) :rotfl: but I am guessing it was her being even more sneaky as she was trying to make sure she didn't get caught out :rotfl: Hopefully she will learn from it and her dad will give her a telling off too.

Hope you had a good holiday smartcat and glad you still have your tooth rosemary

Dolly I think it is the same eyeko liner that you had - I'm not holding out much hope with it. I have left it stored upside down as read somewhere that it can help with getting the colour out. Still not tried it yet.

Kadison glad to hear you had a good weekend - all sounds like it is going very well :D

I have been going through my eyeshadow collection, very slowly, trying them all out daily. Only the ones that are work appropriate though! I am really disappointed with a lot of them so far, although I have been testing out the cheaper ones first. Tempted to get rid of the lot and just keep my nice palettes.

UU no 10/ clarins multi active night cream 15mls. It was a freebie/GWP and although it ended up lasting AGES and therefore being a LHJ, I liked it so much that I've ordered a full size jar of it!
